WHY does the picture shack

It should not Shack.......Try a reset.....Hold down the EXIT button fro 10 seconds or so.....

Follow the promt to reset the entire TV....See if it still does it...Also i would try connection with Component cables to see if it still does it...not that you will have to nly use these cables but just to see if it goes away.....also, try hooking up a blue ray player and use those same HDMI cables...this will let you know that maybe its the HDMI output on yuor Cable or sat..receiver......

Did you try other HDMI inputs on the TV or does it just have one? YUou need to eliminate things to norrow it down...

First reset the TV.....

1- try diffent HDMI input on the TV
2- Try another source using HDMI cables like a blue ray player or DVd player that excepts HDMI....or switcg another cable/Sat recevier in the house....
3- Then try componet cables see if it still does it...
4- once you eleiminate the Cable /Sat receiverand The HDMI output on the cable or Sat box...and also the HDMI calbes by trying component cables...then its time to call samsung..It must be your TV...If you have more than one HDMI input on the TV and they all do it..that its an internal TV issue...If you only have 1 HDMI on the TV...then it could the internal or that HDMI port...
3rd - If you have more than one HDMI input on te TV and it only does it on one HDMI input thatr its a bad input on that TV...hope this helps

how to get tv off of "store demo" mode?

Tv automatically goes to "dynamic" picture mode. When info is pressed, it says store demo.

Not sure why...Reset everyting first....start over...

Hold down the EXIT Buttonfor 10 seconds. it will prompt you to reset the TV...doe that and try starting over....

Yuo can also got to them menu and look under System to see if there is a setting for Demo? or something. I'd reset everytrhing first and see if that sdoes it...

My friend had the same thing and if you update the firmware it will go away. You can do it online with your TV in the advanced options menu or do what he did and call Best Buy if that is were you got it and they send someone over as part of the warranty to update it.

What do I need to check to correct color problems?

I bought a new plasma tv. I'm hooked up to a DISH TV satelite system. All colors are bright and clear except red. There is NO red color! This causes everything to have a green tint. Is it possible that I have hooked it up incorrectly? THANKS!

a vertical line has appeared on right side of my screen,it goes from top to bottom.

Are issues with red pixels on the screen common?

All along the right side of my television screen is a row of red pixels. Sometimes, the red extends 2-3 inches towards the center of the screen. Other times it is just one row of red along the far edge. Is this an issue that can be fixed under warranty? Or is it something that cannot be fixed?

Question

My t.v. has a thick vertical line from top to bottom of the screen.

I just bought this television less than a year ago and now there is a 4" line down the right side of the screen. I refuse to pay for repairs when this is less than a year old. I am looking for a replacement for this television.
