I have a PN50c450b1dx2a 720P Plasma TV I purchased on 08/17/2010. Is it still under warranty?

The TV show a red tint on the screen and when it is not on a HD channel it show fuzzy red like red dust particles floating in the Top middle of the screen. Do you know what is wrong?

Question

Unable to run upgrade and numerous red pixels

I have tried downloading teh upgrade and get it on USB, but the TV does not read the upgared and will not upload.

I need this done due to too many red pixels appearing on left side of the TV screen.

In order to access Captioning, you will want to head into the TV's menu, then into the setup or system sub-menu to access the CC options or to just activate it, press the CC button on the remote control. However, CC is only available via the coax cable since the CC signal has to be sent by your service provider. The CC information cannot be sent via HDMI or other secondary connections from 3rd party devices. That said, most service provider set top boxes and DVD/BD players will handle CC on board, which will then be displayed on the TV as part of the video signal. Captions are subject to your service provider’s availability.

This unit does actually have a 1-tuner PiP system. PiP 1-tuner systems only allow for one cable connection to be shown at a time on the screen. In order to connect it up, you will need a hard line going into the TV (cable coax) and an active secondary connection (HDMI, component, PC). To activate it up, either head into the TV's menu or click the Tools button on the remote control.

Again, you will need both a coax connection and a secondary input connection in order to properly activate and view PiP on your set. If your option is grayed out, this means that one of the required connections is not active and connected properly.

This TV has a USB connection on the side. You'll need a cable that hooks to your camera and has a USB connection on the other end to connect to the TV. You can also download the pictures on your camera to a computer and then upload those to a USB drive, and then plug the USB drive into the TV.

More than likely the cable that came with your camera should work fine.

You will want to connect the game system's RCA composite or component RGB cables to the TV's component/composite combination input using the supplied adapters (the audio red and white cables will go into the appropriately colored inputs; however, the yellow video cable will go into the green video input for a composite connection). Starting on Page 9 of the user's manual, you should be able to find more instruction on how to make these connections on your TV.

Question

Sometimes I will get a 4:3 gray transparent flash on the screen.

Doesn't happen all the time but when it does it will stay on the screen for a second then disappear. Will happen about every 10 minutes or so. But again not all the time.

I have red dots that sow through the black in the picture. How do I remove this?

When the picture is moving, the red pixels do not show. When the image is still they appear. Generally they appear in the same position on the screen.

Question

how do i get rid of vertical lines on my tv

there is a black vertical line on the right half of the tv with colored lines inside of the black line. the black line is 2-3 inches of the picture, which cannot be seen because of that line.
