When you perform a Factory Reset, all your settings revert to factory defaults. These settings include all picture and sound settings, all channel menu settings including memorized channels, all clock and timer settings, and any other settings you made through the menu. In addition, if you had your TV professionally calibrated, you may lose the calibration settings if the calibration was not done through the service menu.

I had the same problem with my PLASMA TV. I called the warranty company & they told me they were having problems with all these TV"s & the panel would have to be replaced. Now I'm told they will replace the TV with the same specifications. Now I'm just waiting without my 42" TV.

Although the A450 will be able to connect to a 3D BD player, the signal transmitted will only be viewable as a 2D image. Since the A450 does not offer compatibility with the 2010 3D technology, it will not have the ability to display a 3D signal from a 3D BD player.

Unfortunately, the 2009 and earlier model series Samsung TVs and Samsung Blu-Ray Players (not the year they were produced, just the year of the model implementation) will not be eligible for upgrades to the 2010 Samsung Apps Engine or 3D. For the TVs, the panel material isn’t able to display 3D content and the internal hardware (processors, HDMI ports, etc.) on both the TVs and the BD players are not compatible with 3D, the 2010 Samsung Apps Engine or any other 2010 feature.

Unfortunately, the PN42A450 does not offer any wifi or internet capabilities.

The PN (or North American Plasma TV) units will only have support for NTSC/ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and only 100v-127v 60Hz power. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal (or higher voltages), you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country.

No external boxes or equipment needed to view your basic cable. An antenna is required for over the air broadcasts. Premium service may require additional equipment and fees. Thanks for the question ricardog! Any game system, including the X-Box, can be played safely on the PN42A450 or any of our TVs as a matter of fact.

A wall mount and a drill ...possibly some screw drivers

Using a VGA cable.

Turn off both the TV and computer
Plug the VGA cable to the computer
Turn the computer on
Turn the TV on
Change the TV souce to PC
Adjust resolution and monitor settings in the computer to match those of the TV.

your tv should have came with a soft cloth if not use a cloth with the same material as you would use to clean your eye glasses
