Looking for Answers about samsung 24.6" Touch of Color HDTV LCD Monitor?

In the top left of the screen info comes up which obscures the log in choice for windows or Linux and does not enable me to click on a preference, and I am therefore stuck with booting up in Linux.
Is there a way of preventing this appearing on the screen?

When the computer is set to output 1920x1080 the the display compresses horizontally. Yet my Blu-ray player displays properly. Is this a limitation of the PC-input interface?

I purchased this monitor a year ago, the business that I purchased it will not help me and I was just wanting you to know that I am very sad that my monitor is not working very well, in goes black or just doesn't want to come on all the time.
I am a true believer in all your products, I have purchased a top of the line refrigerator and a washer/dryer front loader and their pedistals, I love your products so when I purchased a new computer I bought this monitor LCD HDTV 24.6 SyncMaster P2570HD. I am unemployed now, lost my job this past Feb. I just wanted you to know that I am having issues with this monitor, and I was kind of in hopes that you could do something for me. I know computers, I know it is not a connection issue, or any settings or I need no updates, it worked fine for the first 10 months.

i moved from a windows Xp to Windows 7 - how can i find a driver to work on the new computer

A video signal out from and HDMI source into the HDMI port on the back of the monitor looks very poor with blurring etc. the signal source is 1920/1080 and I've tried both from an Xbox and from a laptop with HDMI out. This problem only appears with and HDMI to HDMI cable. An HDMI out to DVI cable (DVI in on the back of the monitor) looks fine at the same resolution with no blurring and correct color.

Example photos are included showing two examples of HDMI source to DVI port on the back of the monitor and also HDMI to HDMI (which looks poor in both examples - the colors and resolution are bad).

Why is does this happen and what can I do about it?

Screen buzzes when producing black image at shutdown and startup. Also buzzes when an excel sheet is open with multiple graphics.

I HAVE 3 COMPUTERS CONNECTED THRU A KVM SWITCH TO THE SAMSUNG MONITOR. EACH TIME
I HOT KEY FROM 1 COMPUTER TO ANOTHER THE ABOVE DISPLAY COMES UP FOR 5 SECS AND THEN CLEARS. HOW DO I PREVENT THIS?

connecting my direct tv receiver by either rca or coaxial connections monitor only displays black and white with no color. Connecting blu-ray via hdmi shows color. All menus displays show colors. Connected receiver to other tvs and colors are displaying so it is not an issue with receiver

I just realized that every time I turn the monitor back on after it's been turned off, all the settings go back to defaults. It's been doing that since I have it, but I never really noticed until now. The warranty is expired, but is there anything I can do about it?

I setup EASTERN time zone, as I am in Virginia but monitor always shows time 1 hour late. How to correct this one.
Monitor clock mode set as auto.

The TV passed the sound test as does make the Samsung sound when turned on or off, but when on a channel it has zero sound. It doesn't matter if trying to use the interna speakers or if plugged into a headset.

I cannot get anywhere with your web page for this product. All the download links or email links do not work.
I cannot get any support in anyway.
Is your system down or do you cut off support for products after they reach maturity?
I need this Monitor working correctly. It is giving off fumes, smelling like acidy plastic odors, which burn my nose and lips.
What do I do about it?
