There is NO physical button for On/Off. It's a TOUCH SCREEN feature on the lower right bottom area below the screen. The far right "ICON" is the On/Off and it will show RED when on.
Works almost instantly. Very Nice.

There's no physical buttons - touch the dot in the bottom right corner on the front of the monitor. It should turn on.

Hold the Screen with two hands on BOTH sides of the SCREEN about 2/3 the way down. You can then pull forward or push back to adjust the monitor angle. Works great.

This depends on how your monitor is connected. If it is connected through HDMI the monitor will not turn off or sleep.

Place the monitor on a lined flat surface, face down (unplugged, obviously).

Pull on the stand and it will pop out of the monitor. You may need to have someone else stable/hold down the monitor itself.

change your refresh rate
I had the same problem- I changed the refresh rate from 59 hz to 60 hz and it fixed the problem.
Now the picture is perfect

With this monitor, that'd be a graphics card issue. This monitor supports 1920x1080 so if your graphics card doesn't that would be your problem.

Why can't I see the BIOS settings menu during boot up?

I just purchased and installed a Syncmaster P2450H monitor using the HDMI connection. Now, when I boot up, I no longer see the prompt to enter BIOS settings or see the DRAM check messages, etc. It displays in Windows 7 just fine. Do I have to hook up the DVI cable to get it to diplay in DOS?
