Question

Annoying white box after coming out of sleep

After my series 9 ultrabook goes to sleep it wakes up with a white box in the upper left hand corner about 1inch x 1 inch. When I kill the process names samoyedagent.exe or commonagent.exe it goes away. Is there a more elegant way to solve the problem? Anyone else see this issue?

SamoyedAgent.exe is related to the Easy Support Center software. If you want to get rid of the white box, you would need to uninstall this software.

Question

Samsung s9 900x4d Wifi enable on bootup

Hello,

I have an issue with my Samsung s9 900x4d, when i start the computer the Wifi light is turn on as it pass the bios
I want to DISABLE this option but i can't, i have try in the bios setting and even the Samsung software but it still enable when it start.

Please help me as it's very situation every time i need to manually turn it off to use wired connection.

In order to be sure that all the drivers have been updated properly. You will need to make sure that all drivers are up-to-date via the SWUpdate tool.

For Windows 8, Easy Settings has been replaced with Settings. You can install Settings using the SW Update tool. If you have not installed SW Update, you can install it from this link: http://orcaservice.samsungmobile.com/SWUpdate.aspx

Question

Why does my internet disconnect when downloading/installing updates?

For about a month now, I've run across what I consider a major problem. While downloading/installing updates my internet connection is dropped. The other day I tried watching a 42 minute show on my netbook only to have it take me over an hour because I had to keep reconnecting to my internet. I do not believe there is a problem with my wireless modem/router. What is causing this problem?

Upgrade SSD in Samsung Series 9 (np900x4d-a04us)

Does anyone out there have any schematics of the inside of the Series 9 (model #: np900x4d-a04us)? I wanted to see about upgrading the SSD inside but before I remove the bottom panel I'd like to get an idea of what's inside and what to expect. I can't seem to find any technical documentation or schematics in anything on the Samsung website for this model.

Appreciate any help - or a link to where I can find something of use. Thanks...

Question

Screen mirroring a Windows 8.1 Ultrabook to a Samsung Smart TV (UE-55F9080)

A. On the TV
- I select "Screen mirroring"

B. On the ultrabook
- I implement "Samsung Link"
- I select "Devices" on the RHS menu
- Then I select "Project"
- I can then see the "[TV] Samsung" icon and I select it

C. On the TV
- The message "Ultrabook is now connected" is displayed
- Then the message "Loading" appears, together with an icon showing that the TV is now attempting to display the ultrabook's screen.
- But the TV cannot proceed beyond this point

Looks at first like a TV problem. But when I do the same with my Android smartphone (S III), then everything works fine, i.e. the TV is able to proceed beyond the "Loading" message and mirror the smartphone's screen.

Any insight?

Please reach out to your local Samsung dealer, retailer or service department for products purchased outside of the U.S.

Also, check that your shared files are compatible with the video and audio codecs on the TV.
