Question

How can I tell if the cap lock is on, other than the typing results?

When typing such things as passwords, you cannot see the typing results. How can I tell if the cap lock is on? Is there something to install on my Samsung Notebook that would tell me when the cap lock is on?

Thank you for contacting Samsung.

More often than not, you won't be able to view passwords as you type them. This is a security feature and is dependent on the software or application in question. Additionally, our newer model laptops do not have a light on the keyboard area or an on-screen display feature that indicates when Caps Lock is enabled/disabled.

Since this model comes with Windows 8 pre-installed, we do not offer any Windows 7 drivers. We recommend you run the Samsung SW Update tool to see if it obtains the drivers you seek.
