We're sorry to hear you've encountered this issue with the notebook keyboard. You will need to file a service request to have this issue inspected and repaired.
I added 4 gb of RAM to my machine running Windows 7 64 bit. I had a total of 4gb before with 2 2gb sticks. , now I have 8. There are 2 4gb sticks.
The machine boots up fine and works correctly, but the system information says that I still only have 4gb of memory. I am using the correct memory stick, i checked several times.

Did you check if the ram was compatible? I had no problems adding 8 gigs of ram from Crucial. A simple problem like one stick of ram not seated correctly could also be the problem.

Would also try on the internet at a reputable manufacturer's website their utility to examine your machine's status. Might help u pinpoint the problem to a specific stick of memory or just that your computer simply needs to be restarted to refresh the info.

why does my display driver stop responding often?
My screen will black and reappear and I receive a pop up stating my display driver stopped responding but successfully recovered. What is the issue and how can I fix this?

While Firefox is able to trigger the problem, this appears to be an issue with the NVIDIA driver. Haven't seen the issue anymore after installing 8.17.12.8562, obtained directly from NVIDIA. The somewhat recent NVIDIA driver update provided by Samsung is slightly older but may work too. (I had already installed the newer driver at that time to solve the very issue you are reporting.)
Yes, just get a replacement SSD for your Hard Drive The manufacturer should list compatible drives The load on your computer should lessen with a SSD therefore it is an easy swap. U will lose capacity as a trade-off.

SD card slot what capacities?
When buying a SD card specifically to take advantage of ReadyBoost - what class (4,6,10,etc.) and up to what size 4GB, 16 GB , 64GB , etc.
Would like to know other than trial and error.

RF510-S02US has a Marvell Yukon 1gb ethernet port but will only run at 100mb. Have tried connecting to 3 different 1gb switches and all say the port is running 100mb not 1gb. Driver says is current and speed/duplex setting default is auto and i tried 1000mb/full duplex. Still no change. Windows 7 says its running at 100mb. I use the laptop to move several hundred gigs of data at a time and faster speed will help. Is the port defective ?

In "Device manager" for Win 7 look up properties and than "advance" and then pick "speed and duplex"
Now manually pick the speed instead of auto. Hope that works for u

When u insert your flashdrive a dialog box pops up and asks u to choose what to do next. U choose and then the computer will do the same thing from then on. To reset, open the Control Panel - choose hardware and sound - then auto play - now you can choose a new default action for the computer when u insert that flash drive.

Try the November 2011 driver from Samsung (untested) or otherwise get 8.17.12.8562 directly from NVIDIA. The latter solved the problem for me, before the Samsung update was released.

my notebook rf510-s02 continiously crashes and gives me a blue screen
Has been happening since I purchased, but now it happend so frequently the product is almost unusable. I am running norton antivirus software and have used a free registry cleaning software to help remedy the problem. in safe mode, the event viewer log states the error has to do with kernel.

Can the Samsung RF510 S02 be put into Raid 0 with another HD?
I do a lot of video editing and the use a SSD would be great.I was also wondering if the sata off the CD/DVD drive had a bottleneck because I could not find any information on RAID support through the BiOS nor if the CD/DVD supports a 6 g/bs SSD.

CD Drive performance is very slow
I am noticed that the CD performance of my RF510 is slower than expected; when ripping CDs to iTunes it never goes above 4.0x and there are CDs (in new condition) that cannot be read (Pogues Greatest Hits). Is there any user setting that can be adjusted, or a new firmware for the CD drive that would address the slow performance? Is there an old firmware that should be reloaded? Thanks for any guidance you can provide on this. Other than this issue, the laptop is a great product and I am very satisfied with it.
