I fond that rather than key in the model, if you click almost directly below on the same page under Office, on Laptop (even though a Netbook) it will show up in the list.

Same problem with the NP-N150-JPB1US. Totally nonexistant support. The link provided by the previous poster is not useful at all as it just takes you to the main support page. What is the status of these netbooks? Does Samsung support them with updates or not?

as to why its not listed, i dont know, but i have the same netbook as you and when i was looking for drivers for it i didnt see it listed anywhere. so, i did some research and i found the drivers for it and other things. ill give you the link http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/netbooks/NP-N150-JPB2US

Yes ... However, you are limited to a total of 2gb with the Windows Starter Edition. You must replace the existing 1gb with a 2gb and be sure to purchase the correct type. I upgraded my NP150Plus to Windows 7 Home Premium to get the additional features and thought that that would allow me to upgrade to 4gb, but the CPU chip must have limitations to 2gb. If you check the Samsung Users Guide, it shows you how to do it if you need it.

You must have a blue tooth adaptor either built in to the PC or plugged in one of the USB ports. If you add a USB blue tooth adaptor, the software will be included or Windows may identify it and load it's driver software.

Yes, you can turn it off quite easily. If you hold the Fn key and press F10, it will turn the trackpad off. Not sure how to change the sensitivity though.

This is because of the windows 7 starter edition. You will need to upgrade to a higher level windows 7.

If you look at the label on the bottom of the PC, it gives you the technical model number. It will be on the list.

N150 Plus issues with Keyboard

I have a N150 plus about an year ago. All of a sudden there is some weird behavior with the keyboard. When i press "o", it keys in "oi", likewise, i press
k - kl is keyed
this happens with many other keys too. can you please help me with this?

Netbooks are primarily for users that want to get online and not much else. Even the version of Windows 7 installed on these devices has a reduced feature set. They are designed to be smaller and process less, so if you are using the device regularly with productivity applications, you will see less performance. Question

My computer doesn't recognize battery

When I power up my netbook with my AC adapter, I get a red plug on the taskbar with a note that my battery is either not charged or needs to be replaced. I just replaced my battery and still get the same msg. The computer usually powers off if I pull the plug even though the battery is fully charged. Tonight all of a sudden, the computer recognized that it had a battery "98 percent charged." I pulled the plug. The netbook worked for about ten minutes with the battery and then suddenly shut off. I've checked the drivers for updates and get a msg that everything was current. Please advise. Thanks

I'm looking for the Recovery Disks

I want to resell my NP150's (I have 2) but the recovery partition is gone. I would like to put the machines back to factory specs.

Can you provide me or point me in the direction to a recovery image I can put on the hard drive?

If you do not have the recovery discs, Samsung can send them to you. But, if the recovery partition is no longer on the computers, in order to restore them to factory specs, you would need to send them in for this repair to be completed. Also, the deletion of the recovery partition is not covered by the warranty, so there would be a cost involved to have this service performed. Why are there multiple drivers listed with same version and size and same dates, and others same version/size/dates yes others with different size sa?

Deciding which driver to download is very confusing.

There seem to be every possible combination,
same version, different date, different size,
same version, same date, same size
same version, same date, differnt size
same version, different date, same size,

Which should be chosen?

While it looks as if some of the drivers are duplicated, we recommend you download the driver appropriate for the operating system installed on your netbook and the one with the latest release date.

Question

My Samsung Hard Drive failed so I upgraded to a 500 GB Seagate. I discovered the it requires the Intel Rapid Storage Technology.Why is this not noted?

You offer the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software which is a good thing, however you offer no guidance as to why it is needed/desired nor do you state that it is required for Windows Update to operate.

This should be noted.

The Windows Update failure is:

Error Code- 0xC8000247 (Can't install updates)

If you replaced the factory hard drive in your netbook, your unit is no longer covered by the warranty. Also, while Seagate assumed support of Samsung's hard drive business, since you own a Seagate hard drive, we recommend you contact them for further support.

On my N150 Netbook, how do I get batterylifeextender.exe and supbackground.exe to run in standard user mode without disabling password protected UAC?

When I create standard user accounts on my N150 netbook, those users are prompted with UAC dialogs requiring one of the password protected admins to have to sign in for those apps. I want to not have to sign in as an admin every time, but I don't want to turn off UACs, and I don't want to disable the passwords on the admin accounts.

How can I change/reset my function keys? Which piece of software can I download to fix any issues I may be experiencing with the Fn+key combinations?

Currently when I hold the function key and try to use the numbers on the keyboard, I can only get the +-*/ keys to work. None of the actual numbers work for some reason. When I press Fn+9 or Fn+8, the cursors moves up. When I press Fn+7, the cursor moves to the beginning of the line, etc, etc. These keys are not working properly, help!
