I'm sure you've probably discovered the answer by now; but just in case...
The Netbook you purchased is running Windows 7 Starter Edition. It is a "stripped down" version of Windows 7. It used less resources than Windows 7 Home Edition. Changing the wallpaper is not an option (out of the box). However, there are some programs available that will allow you to change the wallpaper. I won't promote them on this site, but a quick search on the net will give you some options.
PLEASE help, this is my second request for assistance.

Just press FN key and hold it + key with touchpad symbol (F10 on Samsung N150), so FN + F10. Which key is with touchpad symbol is in your NTB manual. Or I suppose You can disable it permanently in Bios.

Sure, it is easy, while holding down the Fn key, press the F10 key, and that will shut off the touchpad while you are typing.

I have a new Samsung NP-N150-JA0ZUS
I keep getting a Samsung Plus Update that says there are new important updates for me to install. There is usually a list with 4 updates. It says you can only add 1 at a time. When I click to add one there is an hour bar that shows status. I can wait an hour and nothing happens. Can you tell me how to correct this? Thanks

If you are selecting to download a single update at a time and the status bar does not move the server where the update is located may be experiencing a problem. Remember that you can always visit Samsung.com/support and download the update manually, which may in fact be faster than waiting for Samsung Update Plus to download and install the update or provide you the update notification.

try ths: It should have the samsung recovery 4 software, all you do is hit f4 at boot and follow the instructions and it will revert it back to how it was set up the first time it was turned on
You don't need any additional hardware to do this, it does it itself off the c drive
When I run the Samsung Users Guide the window is black. When I run the application on other computers, it runs OK. When I first bought the computer in July it ran OK. I can't figure out what has changed.

Is my samsung N150 compatible with the Mac snow lepoard OS?
I want to run dual operating systems on my netbook but I'm unsure if it is compatible with the Mac Os. Is there a way to find out before I purchase the additional operating system?
Right out of the box the keyboard on my N10 Netbook has been extremely frustrating. I have to hit keys several times to get the character to register on the screen. This process is painfully slow and simply ridiculous. I spend more time backspacing and correcting text than I do typing. Seriously, it is not me. I have used computer keyboards for 25 years. There is something wrong with this machine and I can't imagine I am the only one who has experienced it.

Hi
You have Samsung Recovery Solution 4 in your netbook, and if you had created factory defults restore partition first time when you had started your netbook than just launch Recovery Solution software provided with comp, and follow instructions.

It would be cheaper to buy a new netbook than to pay someone to replace the screen.
You may be able to plug in the VGA cable from a desktop monitor to the netbook and try to boot it that way. Be sure to have it plugged in before you turn the netbook on.
When I try to change sleep mode on closing lid it gives no access to changes.
I just purchased this N150Plus and want to change it so that when I close the lid it does not enter sleep mode. But it will not let me make any changes.
