Question

UNABLE TO SET CLOCK TO 24 HOUR TIME. APPARENTLY NOT AVAILABLE

HAVE SET TIME SO IT'S OK BUT COULD NOT GET 2400 HR TO WORK AT ALL. ALSO, WHY IS MY RANGE DIFFERENT THAN PICTURED? MINE HAS A BLACK OVEN DOOR WITH A LITTLE STAINLESS TRIM AND STAINLESS DRAWER. IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE FLOOR MODEL. HAS THIS BEEN CHANGED RECENTLY?

How to change between a 12-hour and 24-hour display
1. Press CLOCK and 0 on the number pad at the same time for 3 seconds. The display will show the present mode (eg. 12 hour).
2. Press 0 on the number pad to select 12 hour or 24 hour. Pressing 0 on the number pad changes the display from 12 hour to 24 hour and back again.
3. Press the START/SET pad to exit.

Question

What caused mark on cooktop?

we bought this unit on 1/13/13 and it was delivered 1/14/13 and there were no marks on the cooktop. we have used this eye a few times never on fast boil and never even on Hi. Yesterday I noted a very small spot that looked like the black surface was worn away and it would not clean. Just a while ago I finished cooking and was cleaning the surface and noticed a much larger spot - again it looks like the black surface was worn away.

I am attaching a photo. The small spot is at 12 o'clock looking at the image. The larger spot is at 1 o'clock and is about 1 inch long.

Can I expect this to be an ongoing 'feature of this unit? Is there any way I can get rid of these spots?
