Are you installing Windows 7 on the new SSD? If not, you should be doing a clean install.
A BSOD would only come from Windows if you already installed your OS on the WD Black drive or a different drive, and didn't have AHCI enabled when you did. You can't switch to AHCI after installing the OS. If you do that it doesn't load the driver, nor does it keep it available so it tries to load the OS and fails. If this is what you did, you can either reload Windows with AHCI enabled, or if you search Microsoft Technet or just google it this is a common problem, and it explains how to load the AHCI driver after booting in your old mode, then afterwards you can change it to AHCI and it will boot properly.
But you wouldn't get an SSD and not install the OS on it clean, so there's not enough detail here to provide the best answer.
If you get a BSOD and have no OS installed, and don't have the WD drive connected, and have AHCI mode enabled then ensure you're not overclocking anything, and update your BIOS if there is one available as a BSOD without the OS installed is going to be a hardware fault.
Why does SSD Magician say that "No Samsung Brand SSD found in the system."?
Just installed the SSD today, with a fresh install of Win 7 x64.

Does it show a Samsung SSD in device manager? Also did you enable AHCI in bios if it's an option before installing Windows 7?
It should be as simple as ensuring AHCI is enabled (if you loaded Windows without AHCI enabled and change it to enabled, the drive won't boot and you'll get a BSOD). Since you just loaded if you didn't enable AHCI first, I would just reload with it enabled.
Then ensure you have installed the chipset drivers for your board and the SATA drivers as well. The drivers included with Win7 are usually basic drivers and installing the SATA and or drive controller drivers specific to your motherboard are best. If it shows the Samsung SSD by name in device manager that's pretty strange. Ensure you install the latest version of SSD magician from the website. Still nothing? Contact support.
Hi, I'm looking to buy a 256GB SSD 470 Series for my 13" MacBook Pro. I read somewhere that the SSD needs have Independent Garbage Collector to be compatible on a Mac. Is this true? If so, does this model have that feature? And one last question, is this model a 3 or 6 Gb/s?
Thanks in advance, I look forward to your answer.

It's SATA II 3Gb/s
Never heard of this Mac issue. Best way to ensure compatibility is to look at product reviews on Newegg and in the feedback search for "mac". Most likely someone with a Mac has already done it and will have reported any problems if they had any.
I downloaded Norton Ghost per the instructions in SSD Magician but no license key was provided and I cannot clone my drive without the key.

The download of Norton Ghost on the Samsung site doesn't include keys. In the box your SSD came in there is a CD with Norton Ghost on it, and the sleeve has the product key that will work for the CD software or the downloaded version (which is probably newer).
If you didn't get a CD in your box with the manual and such, then you got one that didn't include Norton Ghost.
Asside from the software bundled with the MZ-5PA256B Model Code: MZ-5PA256/AM what is difference between the MZ-5PA256/AM and the MZ-5PA256/US? I notice the MZ-5PA256/US has a firmware version listed. How do you load newer firmware in the MZ-5PA56/AM have tried Magician software and USB and CD boot disk can'd load new firmware.
