Looking for Answers about samsung ML-1665?

I can't find the toner anywhere. I looked at the toner number on the actual toner itself and it is nowhere to be found. Please help.

I am on Win Xp and I installed the ml1665 printer software and now the camera /scanner wizard does not work. I have another printer i use for scanning and now it tells me that the scanning software can not be found. When I uninstall the Samsung software and drivers, the wizard works again. How can I get both to work? It is a fresh write, and I tried to install samsung first and the scanner second, but Samsung drivers disable the scanner function on the Sharp MFC.

On my ML1665 I am starting to get a low toner message. Do I just put a new cartridge in? Some web sites suggest shorting pin 1 and 4 on a small chip. They say if you don't short pins or load in new software you will still get a low toner message? Is that true?

ML 1665 is configured on a terminal server. I can change Printing Preferences, but they revert to previous settings as soon as I exit the Printing Preferences panel.

i use ml-1665 printer with windows 7 system with samsung universal dirver, my printers print screen button is not working, if I push for long time it prints printer information but not print screen.
what shall i do, thanks

I think the firmware version is: v1.01.00.34. Are the Changelogs for the firmware kept somewhere?

I am just unpacking this printer and the toner kit won't come out of it. I have tired for over an hour. Also you say to take it out with the paper door shut but on the picture you show it being done with the door open. I tried it both ways and no success. The lid that you open to put the toner in and out doesn't close evenly either... Can someone give me some intsructions or help before I pack it up and sent it back for you folks to pay the postage???

new problem:after installing Chrome 13.0, no printing from browsers (same for Mozilla) or e-mail: everything gets white, and program must be shut.

Is this product registered or is there more I need to do?

Is there a reason that this question has already been asked and subsequently left unanswered for over two months? Not even a "call for service if the problem persists"? Yes, that's what it says in the status area but this hit me at a very inopportune moment and I do not have time to send this thing off to be serviced if there is any possible way I can fix it myself. It would just be nice to have confirmation that no DIY method is remotely plausible.

Samsung printer 1665

I successfully installed the drivers for my Samsung ML-1665/XXA on my laptop (windows vista), but can't seem to install them on my Ubuntu 10.10 computer. When I insert the CD (the one which accompanied the product), the CD/DVD drive icon disappears from the Computer window--so I downloaded the UnifiedLinuxDriver_0.tar.gz and unzipped it, and installed the deb file for the printer which resulted--but when I try to print a test page, I'm told that the program rastertosamsungsplc needs to be installed, and though this also appears in the unzipped files, I can't seem to run it -- also, there are two files with same name there. Now what?

I'm the owner of a ML-1660 printer. There's a bug with duplex printing, if halfway I have to load a paper manually (having to press the print button after manual loading). After that happens, there is no way to do double sided printing. When I press the print button, it prints out my screen.

My samsung printer has a promblem that it is printing a paper with muliple lines. Please see the images.

Ad-Aware scan results indicate two files on my computer are infected with Trojan.Win32.Generik.pak!cobra. The paths and names of the files are: (1) c:\program files\samsung\drprinter\connectoff.exe; and (2) c:\program files\samsung\drprinter\printer119.exe.

Please advise.
