I have Comcast as well and used code 10812 for the Comcast remote. This allows power on/off and volume control

use the setup menu - cancel "Epop"(turn it off)

All Samsung TVs should be transported standing up, in its own shipping box. Please do not lay the panel down or transport it any other way besides straight up, as this may cause damage to your panel.

Due to some manufacturers using different codes for their IR remotes, Samsung does not offer universal codes or support for these remotes. In order to find out your remote’s code for our Samsung TVs, it is best that you contact your remotes manufacturer for further details.

Although this model does not have direct access to Samsung Apps (like Netflix, Pandora or YouTube), it can access App content through a 2010-11 Samsung BD player (the blu-ray player will handle the Internet content processing). Additionally, although this model offers AllShare DLNA for streaming saved content from a DLNA device (PC, Cell Phone, Etc.) through a wired or wireless connection with a Samsung Linkstick to a home network, the Linkstick itself cannot add Internet@TV functionality. The Linkstick can only facilitate a network connection to Samsung Devices that already offer either network connectivity or Internet@TV and Samsung Apps.

Unfortunately, headphone jacks are not available on this unit; however you can still connect headphones to this unit with a third party headphone device (either through RCA, 3.5mm jack or Optical). Since the audio outputs on this unit are a fixed pass through type of connection, you would need an intermediary device to control the volume, since the TV does not have control of the volume coming out of the analogue and digital audio outputs. Additionally, the Samsung TVs will not offer direct wireless connectivity to wireless capable headphones.

Additionally, although I cannot suggest the purchase of another manufacturer's product, I would have to refer this question to others on this forum.

When the TV is receiving a coaxial signal, the TV will have the ability to send 5.1 CH sound to the home theater receiver through the Optical output. However, when the source is a digital component connected to the TV via HDMI, only 2 CH audio will be output from all of the TV’s audio output. If you want to hear 5.1 CH audio, please connect the digital audio out jack from your device directly to an amplifier or home theater.

You will need to consult with a professional calibrator. The colors are all based on your home set-up i.e lighting, TV make/model etc...hope this helps.

This unit does actually have a 1-tuner PiP system. PiP 1-tuner systems only allow for one cable connection to be shown at a time on the screen. In order to connect it up, you will need a hard line going into the TV (cable coax) and an active secondary connection (HDMI, component, PC). To activate it up, either head into the TV's menu or click the Tools button on the remote control.

Again, you will need both a coax connection and a secondary input connection in order to properly activate and view PiP on your set. If your option is grayed out, this means that one of the required connections is not active and connected properly.

Although a universal remote would be much easier to set up in this fashion, the Remote that comes with the TV can only be used with the TV itself. The Samsung TV's remote is not a multi-device universal remote. If you have Samsung devices that offer Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) connectivity, then you may be able to use your one TV remote to control said devices without having to program anything.
