The audio stays on, but the screen goes black. Turning the tv off then back on fixes the video for another 5-30minutes then it goes black again with audio functioning fine.

how do I fix a vertical line mid picture on model LNS4092D?

mid screen. from bottom upwards (approx) 2/3 of the way up there is a quarter sized vertical "line" . I have tried vertical and horizontal adjustments as well as fine tuning without success. When the tv is of a "shadow" of that line is still present. HELP!!!:(

I've got a line vertically that is appearing on the tv, is that repairable?

It started as a small line and now goes from about 2 inches from the top all the way down. Is that from a manufacturer default, I have only had this 4 years. My other tv lasted almost 20 years. Please advise.

I have a LNS4092 DX/XAA and a series of vertcal lines have formed near the center of the picture.

The lines are usally green, but sometimes are red depending on the picture.

Why won't my TV now find my DVR (HDMI) or cable box (antenna/coax) input devices?

My LNS4092D HDTV can no longer find my DVR (HDMI) device nor my cable converter box coax input when attached to it. They just stopped working. Neither HDMI input can find my DVR, but they will find my DVD player (HDMI) when plugged into either HDMI input. The coax (converter box) cable and HDMI cable each work when plugged into other LCD TVs, however.

TV SHUT ITSELF OFF WHILE BEING WATCH. WILL NOT POWER BACK-UP

I change channels, and the Blue light blink 3 or 4 times. Then the TV shut down, unable to turn back-on. Connected to a surge protector. Surge protector & the rest of the equipment that connected are . Just the TV won't work work. This happen 1-29-11. WHAT HAPPEN + IS IT REPAIRABLE???

Picture has small white dots

I am attaching two pictures of the TV screen when on. You will see that it has rows of dots at top and bottom. This is always when TV is on. However when I go to Menu and go to turn on PIP, I choose go to ON then go back to off and the picture becomes normal and great lloking for about 2 seconds then goes back to the screen in the pictures attached. Pictures are upside down , this is phone I used to take them.

My television screen stays black when it goes from a show to commercial

Each time my television fades to black whether I am playing a game or watching TV it will stay black about 45% of the time. The only way I know how to fix this right now is if I shut the TV off and then turn it back on. What is the possible problem? I still have sound when the TV stays black as well.

Why would screen go black while sound continues?

While television is turned-on the screen goes black and the sound continues. Can turn television off (for a second of two) then turn it on and video works for awhile, approx. 17 minutes, before blacking out.
