The UN46C6400 is a fully capable 120Hz set and offers the Auto Motion Plus feature that enhances said 120Hz image. This set will always upscale your 60Hz signal to 120Hz, regardless of any settings you may have active. However, in order to receive the full 120Hz benefit (judder and blur reduction, and frame interpolation), you will need to have Auto Motion Plus active. The reason you are seeing the 60Hz in the info box is because the info box only displays the signal’s actual Hz and screen resolution and not the info of the picture on the screen after the TV processes it. Meaning that the 60Hz you are seeing is the signals actual Hz and not the screen’s Hz. Currently there is no way to display the screen’s Hz in the info box. Coincidentally, the Samsung TVs can only accept a 60Hz signal and there are currently no consumer devices on the market that will transmit at over 60Hz (excluding some PCs).

We have a shaded area on the screen that is irregular and always there.

We are able to see through the shaded area, but it is distracting. What causes this? The area seems to be getting larger. It is about 10 inches long and 5 inches wide.

Question

How do I unlock the source list on my Samsung LN-R328W TV?

The TV source is the only available source on my source list. I just had cable hooked up in my apartment and I want to be able to view programs in HD. We have an HDMI cable hooked up but the source is not among the available options. neither is the AV2 or Componenet sources. Is there a way to unlock the source input list to make these options available? Thank you.

Question

I have a LN-R628W tv. Picture quality is bad and changes each time we turn it on.

We get a lot of light vertical lines, sometimes they shimmer. Also color is effected. Most times there is a square or rectangle region in which the color or lines are different.
