iPod isn't compatible with HDMI out. You have to use the composite video/monitor out.
Dont forget to set your iPod TV out to "ON"
This was very disappointing to me as well.

How do I connect my Wii using Component cables, and have it display using HDMI out?
My wii has component cables, but I don't want to use component video out. I want to have all my video devices connected to my AVR, and only have one HMDI cable going to my TV. How do I do that?

The receiver has component switching. connect the WII to the component inputs and make sure you put the receiver on the correct setting. this should display on your TV.
I have setup my receiver with a bluray disc player and my xbox 360. I can get the HDMI 1 source to show up and sound works, but I cannot get the reciever to read the HDMI 2, 3, or 4 inputs. No sound or video shows up. I have read the manual multiple times, but cannot seem to select the HDMI 2, 3, or 4 inputs. How do I select them?

Make sure you have the specific source on HDMI if only the HDMI is connected. If you use a HDMI and a optical cable remove the optical cable and again select HDMI. Do this by pushing the connection button on the bottom of the remote then use the SOURCE button under the number pad on the top of the remote.
Also just in case, make sure your device is turned on.
it could depend on the HDMI cable, there have been a lot of cheap imitation ones that TV's & blu-ray & stereos have an issue detecting. try a cable from a local store,

Anynet+ only works with an HDMI connection. It will not turn the Tuner ON but will turn it off.
Optical cables allow audio to be transferred from one device to another.
Plugging your TV's optical audio out, for instance, to your Home Theater's optical audio in port will allow your Home Theater to play audio from your TV.
The problem that I have is that the audio and video are out of time
Hello, I have an LED TV - UN46C7000WF, Home Theater - HW-C770BS and Blu-Ray - BD-C6900, they are connected between its for HDMI. From the Blu-Ray to the Home Theater and of the Home Theater to the LED TV. The problem that I have is that the audio and video are out of time, when I look at a movie from the Blu-Ray, it is listened firstly in the speakers of the Home Theater and in a second later the image corresponding to this sound is seen in the LED-TV. If I connect the direct Blu-Ray to the LED TV I do not have this problem.

There is a sync setting in your receivers menu. You just need to adjust the sync there until you get it matched up. Hope this helps out.

While in the BD/DVD mode, go into the setting and got to A/V Sync. While watching a BD keep increasing the milliseconds until the video is synced with the audio. Watch the lips as people are talking.
Is there a button on the remote to access this feature? I can't find one labeled as such. Thanks.

Question
Video starts to play, then goes black and shows no signal?
I recently set up a Samsung HW-C770BS, with a BD-C9600 (3D player) and Samsung LN46C750 46" 3D TV. Once set up, I tried to play a DVD, and it would play the previews and the menu screen, but then when I tried to play, the audio would play, but the screen would go black and no show "No Signal". Regular TV would also have this issue at times. I have all my accesories plugged in through the Receiver, with a single HDMI up to the TV. Any ideas why this might be happening?

I had the same problem. After hooking everything up with component wires, instead of HDMI, it fixed the problem. I bought this unit for the simple fact that it was HDMI. I'm not impressed..!!!

Press the TV button again until the display reads HDMI.
I can't believe the specs (even the manual) neglect to give the dimensions of the speakers. Unbelievable. If I hadn't already bought a Samsung TV and Blu-ray player, I would never buy a Samsung product again.

Make sure the 770B receiver is set to receive the signal by HDMI on that channel. Press the Aux button and press it again until it says HDMI on the receiver display.
The programming for this particular remote would not be erased, since the codes are part of the hardware. If you need a replacement remote, one can be obtained at www.Samsungparts.com website.
When I connect my PC's DVI-to-HDMI connection to the Receiver and select the correct source, I get no signal. However, if I connect it directly to the Television (also Samsung) and choose the right source the picture shows up perfectly.

The receiver uses a active HDMI source. DVI does not send the right signals for the Receiver to accept. Your TV will see it because the TV is acting as a receptacle for the signal not a signal director. Also DVI does not carry audio so the Receiver may not see it as an active source. If you upgrade your video card to a new card with an HDMI, you will be able to connect your PC to your Receiver.
A simple HDMI Video card will do as long as it has enough memory for high definition signals, 256 or 512 should work fine unless you are using a blu-ray player. If so, I should go with as big as you can afford. Remember you do not need a professional grade HDMI video card, just what will fit your budget.
I have my HDMI from my ps3, xbox, and satellite plugged into the reciever and then the output HDMI to the Tv. I have a samsung tv and the anynet+ works fine but the tv just says check signal cable.

I have found that unless the TV detects a signal on on of the HDMI ports to switches to "air TV" which in turns will show no signal unless you have something connected to this antenna. The tv will keep changing the receiver to air TV. The only work around I have found is to turn on the cable box, then the receiver set the receiver to the cable box then turn on the tv. Anything else and the system loops itself.

cant understand the issue. You may need to go into the menu and make sure the subwoofer is turned on. Each HDMI has it own settings.
