Customer questions and answers for samsung HT-Z520
We have the surround sound home theater system HTZ520. I am having a horrible time adjusting the volume. If I turn it up so that I can hear the voices in the movie, the music is entirely too loud and overpowers the voice. How can I change this?
You may want to check the audio settings in the menu of the HT-Z520. If you're playing a movie with 5.1 surround sound, make sure that you're selecting the surround sound option from the disc menu as well - this will assign each speaker a specific audio channel and should balance out properly.
If you need additional troubleshooting assistance, you may want to contact the Samsung customer service center at 800-SAMSUNG.
I have a HT-z520-xaa Home heater and I am looking for the code for my comcast remote.
I have a Samsung TV with anynet capability, so I can control the volume with the comcast remote. However, I have to use the Home Theater remote to turn it on. Is here a code available for the comcast remote for this device?
Cable and Satellite box companies often program their remotes with their own code banks. In order to get codes that are compatible with Samsung (or any!) manufacturer's devices, you'll need to contact your service provider to see which codes are available for your model.
I connected the iPod dock to the iPod connector in the back of HT. I selected A IPOD PORT. I placed my iPod Touch 4th Gen in the dock. Selected song to play. No sound from speakers. TV, DVD, CD, TUNER all work fine. Can I see iPod playlist on my TV? I have a Samsung LN46A550 TV.
My Samsung HT-Z520 has been acting up for about a month or more. Wen playing dvds it skips, jumps, freezes momentarily and sometimes permentantly.
A couple of times it has "frozen" to the point that I cannot turn it off or eject the dvd. If I unplug it and replug that usually solves that individual problem but not the others. Please advise. Thanks. P.S. The serial # is AH640491BB.
How to integrate a samsung blueray with my current HT-Z520?
I have a wireless HT-Z520 and I would like to change out the 5 disc regular DVD player with a Samsung blueray with Wi-Fi, but I don't want to lose my surround sound capabilities. What blueray will work with my current HT-Z520?
My HT-Z520 has a 4100 wireless for the rear speakers. I need a set of speaker wires with the special connectors that plug that in to the 4100. Where can I get them? Also is it possible to buy an additional 4100 that works with my HT-Z520?
