Question
How do I get the wireless rear speakers to work?
I have the right TX card SWA-5000 from my prior unit. It will not sync. Any ideas. I've tried the reset, no luck. Re-installed the TX card and powered the receiver and remote unit, still no link.

We recommend you follow the exact instructions as indicated on page 17 of your product manual. If it is not handy you can refer to the following file.
We conferred with our home theater expert who said that the ID needs to be set.
If the product doesn't make a wireless connection, you need to run an ID Set between the product and wireless receiver module. With the product turned off, press "0" > "1" > "3" > "5" on the remote control. Turn on the wireless receiver module. Then, press and hold the “ID SET” button on the back of the wireless receiver module for 5 seconds, and then turn the product on.

It doesn't matter what I'm trying to do or even what time of day it is. The player simply shuffles through all the sources. Sometimes quickly and sometimes I can get all the way back to my tv show on Hulu before I'm kicked out and sent to digital in. I gets really annoying on movie nights because you never know if you are going to get to watch the entire movie or not.

I want to watch a Tv program and record or copy it to a flashdrive placed in the USB port on the unit.

speaker wires a little short, and don't want my grandchildren tripping over the wires. where can I find extension wire for my speakers?

I see the the HBOgo App is only available on your TVs. As I have purchase 2 blu-ray players and a Galaxy phone, I find it quite unfair that it is only available on you TVs. You have other customers and they deserve to have access that all the other customers have to internet products they pay for.
So, the question is: when is the HBOgo app going to be made available to your other loyal customers?

According to specs, this product HT-E5400 offers Dolby Pro Logic II audio processing. I can't find how to do this. I want to simulate Dolby 5.1 using TV stereo sound.

Press the Sound Effect button on your remote and then the up or down arrow button until you see the Dolby Pro Logic II appears on the display. For additional info, please refer to pages 48-49 of your user manual. If your manual is not handy, you can refer to this PDF copy.

Why does the aux digital input cut out and the DVD player start automatically?
When using the aux digital input, the digital input will cut out and the DVD player function starts. After switching back to aux digital input, after a short time it will again cut out and switch to the DVD player function. I just updated the software, but it was happening both before and after the update.

I keep getting an error message when trying to access my apps telling me I am out of memory. I have not downloaded any apps, just the ones that came with the device. I did remove a few apps that I could, but the only ones left are the standard ones that cannot be removed or ones I use, such as Web and a few others. Is there a way to add memory?

I plugged in all the speakers and the center speaker is not working. I have tried unplugging & then plugging it back in. Other than that is there anything else I can do?

I bought blue ray dvd and speakers that are coming with it. It is fine when i watch a movie through blue ray but when tv is working i don't get that speaker effect as I do with palying dvd. How do I connect these speakers to tv

We recommend you refer to page 20 of your product manual for the home theater for instructions on connecting the unit to your TV. If your manual is not handy, we recommend you refer to the following PDF copy.
Additionally, if you wish to use the speakers with the home theater at all times, you would need to set your TV audio to the external speaker setting. If you're watching cable TV and wish to take advantage of digital or surround sound through your speakers, you would need to adjust the audio settings on your set-top box or DVR and select the digital audio option. As long as you have an HDMI or optical audio cable running from the cable box to the home theater, it should successfully carry the digital audio signal to the speakers.
it is included in the remote control but when you hit it pops a message - not available - Please fix this ! This is an app i use a lot ! Thanks

Thank you for your feedback. Have you tried to add the Pandora app from Smart Hub? We recommend you check to see if it is available to add and if so, once it's installed, pressing the button should launch the app. Also, this remote is manufactured for use with multiple Samsung home theater units, so there may be other units that come with Pandora pre-installed.
The HT-EM53C was registered by mistake. Please delete, I can't find how to do this.
