We apologize for the delay in addressing your question. We have confirmed with our resident home theater expert when AnyNet+ is enabled on both devices and configured correctly, it will work in the following fashion.
Your TV will power on AFTER you've powered on the home theater system and as you stated in your original correspondence, the HTS will turn off AFTER you power off the TV.
You might also like to know that a firmware update for your HTS was released on 5/11/2012. Please refer to Page 56 of your product manual if you are unsure of how to check for firmware update.
