Why are my movies only displaying in black & white?

- I have tested several dvd's and the images are only displaying in black & white.
- I tested the RGB ports on the front and back of the television and the images are only displaying in black & white.
- I tested three different RGB cables (on each port, front and back of the television) and the images are only displaying in black & white.
- I searched the DVD setup menu and was unable to find a way to enable a color display.

I am having trouble getting the Digital Optical cable to fit the product.

The cable never stays secure. I can see a red light eminating from the end of the cable, so it looks like that it is hooked up to the television correctly.

How do I hook up either red/white or fiber optic cable to philips tv and get sound through xbox 360?

This current tv does not have fiber optic plug in on back of tv. The way I have it setup is hdmi port 1 on tv is connected to xbox 360, hdmi port 2 is the home theater...and fiber optic cable is hooked up between xbox and home theater, I was thinking that would work but still not luck. I've tried a few things but haven't had any progress...any ideas Model HT-C550
