In the menu, reselect the wireless access point you want to connect to. You'll be prompted to enter the new password for the SSID. After that, you'll be able to connect wirelessly.

You can update it wirelessly but the best way is to download the current firmware. When you goto the products webpage on samsungs website, to the right of the picture of the is the link downloads. Click that, it will bring you to the manuals page, click the firmware tab next to the manual tab on the center of the page. Click the gold icon on the page and it will download the firmware file. Then unzip the file, place it on a thumb drive. Power on the home theater system to the main menu THEN plug in the usb on the front of the unit.

Under the products main main page to the right of the picture there should be an option that says "get downloads" click that. It will load the page to the manual downloads. To the right of the "manual tab" click "firmware" that page should show the current firmware. There is a gold icon to the right of the firmware, click it to begin your download. Once downloaded, unzip the file and place the .ruf on a thumbdrive. There is also a pdf instructions manual on how to download on that page as well. Follow it.

If the main unit doesn't make wireless connection, the system needs ID Setting between
the main unit and wireless receiver module. With the main unit turned off, press the remote
control's number buttons "0" "1" "3" "5" and the main unit will turn on. With the
wireless receiver module turned on, press "ID SET" button on the back of the wireless
receiver module for 5 seconds.

Try a different USB.

The HT-3252 supports the device of which the connected drive is formatted in the FAT(FAT,
FAT16, FAT32) file system.

This bluray does not support usb's/hard rives over 160 gb's.

I have played the following files successfully: .avi, .divx, .mkv, .mp4, .AVI, .DIVX, .MKV, .MP4

If it is turning off on its own, its possible it is overheating.

If your tv is turning on when you hit power on for the bluray it is the Anynet feature.

Read page 48 in the user manual.

"Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) Function
Anynet+ is a function that can be used to operate the main unit of this system using a Samsung TV remote control, by connecting the Blu-ray Home Theater to a SAMSUNG TV using an HDMI Cable. (This is only available with
SAMSUNG TVs that support Anynet+.)

What is Anynet+?
Anynet+ is a convenient function that offers linked operation of this unit through Samsung TVs with the Anynet+ feature.
- If your Samsung TV has an logo, then it supports the Anynet+ function.
- If you turn on the player and insert a disc, the player will start playing the disc, and the TV will turn on automatically and switch to HDMI mode.
- If you turn on the player and press the PLAY button with a disc already inserted, the TV will immediately turn on and switch to HDMI mode"

It is quite possible you no longer have connection with the rear speakers. The sound always drops out of ALL speakers when this message is displayed. Try resetting your wireless receiver see if that gets rid of it.

I was having the same issue and every time I tried doing the Firmware Update it kept telling me I was up to date. I emailed Samsung about this and finally I did a system reset and installed the newest Firmware via USB and viola. I am definitely now up to date as this software has many new features than the older version. I have not tried a Netflix BD yet as I am waiting for the next one to show up.

You need to turn on the home theater system and hit bd receiver. After it loads up to the main blue screen with the 4 apps on it, hit menu. Under menu hit the right arrow it will bring up options, goto network and set up your connection and test it to make sure its working. You can. The best option would be to use an xm radio that can stream off wifi and run a headphone source line from the radio to the source in on the front of the bluray(the bottom right corner, right next to the usb). You could use that or any laptop or computer and run a source line to the bluray player.

Question

Can I download more Apps on my Home Theatre System?

Hi Samsung! I have been looking online to see if I can download some of the newer apps you are offering on your website to my BluRay Home Theatre System? I have Pandora and Netflix but was looking to add YouTube, Blockbuster Movies and who knows what else. I have the Home Theatre system HT-BD3252 hooked up to my Samsung LED TV along with it connected to my home network. Is this model too old to download or update to get these additions?

The latest version adds more apps if you do not already have them(youtube, blockbuster movie, netflix, pandora). Not only do you get all of these apps but also when new watch new blurays, certain blurays need your player to be up to date to play newer discs, so to play the latest movies you need to keep your bluray player up to date.

This prompt means to check your rear speakers they have lost connectivity. If the rear wireless unit is led is red, it has lost connection. If it blinks blue but does not become solid, it is failing to make the connection. The unit needs to be within 33 feet with a clear line of site. To reset the unit refer to page 22/23 in the manual.

There is a Firmware Upgrade date March 2011. I was trying to update mine also via the internet and kept getting a message that my firmware was up to date. I emailed Samsung about some issues and to express my dissappointment and they replied giving me some suggestions. First, reset your system by turning off the power and holding the STOP button for atleast 5 seconds. Download the Firmware update and save to a USB Drive. Power on the BD Player and then plug the USB Drive into the front. This will actually upgrade your Firmware and you will now see Blockbuster and You Tube as options like Netflix and Pandora. Go back through and get all your settings back they way you want them.
