While is can be complicated, I would try upgrading the firmware if you have not already. If I remember correctly there was a fix in there for some sound related issues.

This Tv is not from what I can tell I can only get up to 1080i which is not bad either. You can tell if you can change your cable box to 1080p and if your tv can handle it it will display.

Yes, your unit does have the QAM tuner, as well as a NTSC and ATSC tuner. You should be able to connect your antenna to the ANT-IN input on the back of the TV. Run an auto-program to get the channels.

Although this model does not have direct access to Samsung Apps or any other internet content, it can access internet content through a 2010 Samsung BD player (the blu-ray player will handle the Internet content processing).

We have conferred with our resident HDTV specialist who indicates that he is unaware of any emails being sent out regarding this model. He also states that the HT-T5054 does not have a factory reset feature.

No its 1080I maximum, but is just as good as 1080p

I have never heard of this tv being 3D ready. Not sure if this is correct, I wouldn't think it would be since 3D wasn't really out at the time this tv released.
