Question

I like this camcorder, BUT....

the video format in which it records (mpg4?) is not recognized by ANY of my players including Windows Media Player, QuickTime, VLC... etc..etc.. Even when I use Samsung's own InteliStudio, it doesn't work properly or refuses to open up the file..
All help will be appreciated..Otherwise, I'm thinking about returning this and gettings something else..

MP4 should work on media player, and especially VLC.. I have a H200 Samsung camera that records in MP4, and it all works fine for me.. Try another computer? Sorry i cant help more

Can I use an SDHC Class 6 card?

Manual says higher than class 6 - but that would be class 10. Does the manual mean class 6 or above?

I have used three different brands of class 6 cards in mine and they all worked....even at the highest quality setting in HD. But, I would recommend getting the class 10. You can get a 32gb class 10 for a reasonable price these days.

Question

Backup to PC - how can I get the camera to see the computer?

I have a wireless network set up. I have no trouble getting the camera to recognize and connect to my router. I cannot get my camera to see that I have any devices it can connect to through the network. I have installed Kies and Allshare on my primary PC connected to the network. The manual is rather empty of information on this topic. Any tips?

is there a way to avoid making a new segment everytime i hit pause? i don't want to recorder during stops in action

i hit pause and it creates numerous segments which are a pain to play back.

video format not accepted by iPad

I have downloaded 5 convertors and all cannot handle the 60fps videos (they errors says the Codec framerate differs from container framerate 119.88fps->59.44fps) . How can I convert these videos? Is there an upgrade for the camera??
