I've researched this and found that "3D Ready" from Samsung means that only a PC can drive the display and that you have to get special software to do it. Samsung's own 3D Blue-ray player (BD-D6500) only supports "FULL 3D" which is the term for Blue-ray 3D format and does not convert to the checkerboard "3D ready" format. They say that their "3D Ready" TVs cannot be driven by Blue-ray players. Another user responded that there are some Blue-ray players that can output the checkerboard "3D ready" format, I have not found them yet.

Question
How can I play 3d movie on my TV
My TV is 3D ready . I just want to know where can I buy 3d adapter for my TV
You do not need an adapter as long as your 3D player can output a "checkerboard" format. Several blu-ray players now support 3D-Ready TV's by supporting the required checkerboard format. Other options include connecting a computer (capable of playing blu-ray discs or playing other multimedia) to the HDMI 3 input on the HL67A750. The HDMI 3 input NEEDS to be assigned the PC name. The computer simply NEEDS to be set for 1920 X 1080 @ 60Hz resolution in the RGB pixel format (not YCBCr!!!), and have underscan or overscan TURNED OFF. A 3D player application must also be installed on the PC, such as TriDef or Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 (preferred, as it can play blu-ray and 3D blue-ray). After the computer is configured, all you have to do is put the TV into 3D mode by pushing the tools button on the remote control and activating either 3D mode 1 or 2.
You of course need a pair of active shutter 3D glasses. You can either choose glasses that require an emitter to be plugged into the 3D sync port on the TV, or use a glasses that sync using DLP Link technology (such as Xpand x102). I personally would go with the Xpand's.

Question
i hook up a computer and it says its notsupported.......how do i hook up a computer...and how do i update my tv thank you
The best way to connect a PC to your TV is to use an HDMI or DVI to HDMI cable. The HDMI cable MUST be connected to the HDMI 3 input on your TV, and the input name for HDMI 3 should be changed to PC. The name assignment is actually pretty important, as it actually uses different settings. The TV can accept a 1920 X 1080 60 Hz resolution signal from the PC.
I assume the computer/video card is relatively new, and supports HDMI output and is HDCP compliant.
There are 3 fans in the back of the TV. We had to remove the cover and clean them with Q-tips and alcohol. This lasts for a few weeks, but the message displays again.

Question
lamp replacement
how many lamps are in the unit? background is green, does this mean lamp needs replaced? can not find lamp code on back of tv, any suggestions?
This TV does not have a lamp, it utilizes 3 LED's to produce both the light output and the color. Sounds like there is a problem with one of the LED's... sounds like the green one is working A-Okay.
Thank you for your question. I appreciate your situation. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to remove products from your account. We apologize for the inconvenience.
What I would like to know is instead of using the HDMI/DVI to a computer as directed in the instruction book could I just buy a Samsung 3D DVD player and connect it via one of the hdmi connections to play 3D movies? I have never used the 3D function before.Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
When I turn on the set it makes a noise like a fan bearing is bad. After a while (hour) it quiets down. I don't get any "error messages". A web search said, color wheels can also be a problem. Picture quality and set performance seem fine. Should I run it until something fails or get service now?

I truly dont understand. I have seen so many people having issues with their samsung dlp televisions and for some reason samsung wont even help with fixing them. I have a repair person coming to my house today to fix mine and it is going to cost me around $400. I have a family of 5, I dont have a job due to the lack of employment in our area and my husband is a fireman who works long hours for little money. I find it appalling that your multi million/ multi billion $ company cant help people with these issues. I have done alot of research on this and have seen tons of complaints about the same issue i am having with the white dots. I have read that it is a faulty chip and you pick and chose who to help. I'm done with Samsung. I will not purchase another Samsung product again. I dont know how many times i have contacted you about this issue and get nothing. I am attaching a video for you to see the dots we are having.

Was watching football game and tv went black. Turned the tv off and then back on again and noticed that the color was very poor and things that were supposed to be in red were now black. Also, several blues looked somewhat purplr.
The color on my tv has started acting up overnight, is there anything I can do?
When I turned on my TV this morning the color has a significant "greenish" aspect. I have gonne in and tried to adjust the green/red aspect ratio and it still changes nothing.
