Looking for Answers about samsung HL-T6187S?

I am told that tvs should be calibrated. I have never done this, even tho the unit is 3 years old

A 2 inch horizontal black band appears across the middle of the screen just before the picture comes on. I can still see the picture faintly under this band but it is right across the middle of the screen. The TV just passed the 3 yr warranty period.

It turned on and off with the display in the past

picture doesn't come on unless you unplug it from the wall, now the picture doesn't come on but there is audio

when i turn the tv on it'll be just fine for a couple minutes then the screen will go black. it still has light in the background but the screen is black.

what could i do to fix this problem?

The power went out in my house over night, just curious if this might have had something to do with my new problem.

Picture had a green tint, faded, then lost all picture. I turned off the set, and then turned it back on. The picture returned but has green tint. I tried to adjust the picture tint, but nothing seemed to help.

Any suggestions?

Want to get 3d on my tv and i have an input in the back what do i need?

I already reset the TV to the factory settings and I also unplugged it for a couple of hours and that didn't hfix it.
