how do i get rid of the black and white spots on my screen?
we purchased a Samsung HLT6187S 61" Slim LED Engine 1080p DLP HDTV back in september of 2007 and about a month ago we started noticing little black dots on our screen as well as a couple white dots.over the last couple of weeks we have gotten more of both the black and white dots and it is getting a little frustrating.how do we take care of this problem?
call your extended warranty provider , pretty its burnt out pixels. I'm having the exact same problems! got my TV 12.12.07 , I'm hoping my extended warranty through samsung will replace the TV cause its unfix-able! good luck

the picture is great but has a green color tint to it?
Please let me know what is causing this, i am getting ready to clean it very dusty in back cage area
Tried everything...ONLY thing that works is buy Mitsubishi 3DC-100S... notice the "S" . I guess its for Samsung. The 3DC-1000 will NOT work (had to return one). If you have a PS3 it will play 3D if you have current update AND reset the box (hold the power button for about 5 sec). If not then the panasonic 3D DVD player, get the one with Avatar. Now you can just get the Pan. but you will still need an emiter that comes with the kit. With the Mitsu you will be able to view Blurays, comcast 3D programs, or Satellite whatever you have. Remember plug ALL 3D input into the "GAME" HDMI in the back and select from remote. Then press the 3d button on the remote. GREAT! 3D. Hope this helps.

I need to replace my TV light bulb, I've checked but do not have the bulb type sticker in the tv. I need to know which one is the right one to purchase and how much it will cost. Please inform me and I'll proceed from there.

Why do I get "Not supported Mode" when playing the Extras section of a Blu Ray DVD?
The Movie plays fine but when selecting anything from the Extras section, I receive the "Not Supported Mode" message and only hear the audio. Black Screen for video.
When I unzip the ziped file,how meny files will I unzip 15 or 17 ? The instruction sheet shows 17 files at step 6 and when I unziped the file I get 15 files. I like to know if I am missing files before I start the upgrade of the firmware. Thank you. Jim
Picture had a green tint, faded, then lost all picture. I turned off the set, and then turned it back on. The picture returned but has green tint. I tried to adjust the picture tint, but nothing seemed to help.
