I turned on the set and now just get a green screen. Audio is OK. Channels change with sound. Menu come up fine. No adjustmens will do anything with the screen. Cable box has been changed and still have the same problem. What's next?

Question

Full screen vertical green lines

When I turn on my TV I get full screen vertical green lines on all channels. Audio is good and channels change as required. The TV is connected to a cable box and rebooted. Cables are HDMI and all the connections are good. I can turn off the TV and wait 30 minutes or hours and turn on the TV and the problem goes away. This usually happens initially in the morning after the set is off for 6 or more hours. When the probles gos away there is no problem until the next day.

How do I manually enter a channel, which is not sensed automatically, into the memory list?

In other words, how do I force the TV memory section to accept the channels I want to be listed, which I know are there, and the auto tune does find? I have a TV of another brand which finds my missing channels and which will also accept my manual inputs to lock in the missing channels.

how do i get tv to respond to the remote or manually on froni bezel

i turned tv on, later i went to turn volumn down with the remote, it wouldnt work, i replaced batteries in remote, still wont work. I then used buttons on front bezel, none of the buttons work, not even the power button to turn it off. Im afraid to unplug it thinking maybe tv will not come back on.
