I had my television fixed last year with the spot problem and about two months later I started experiencing another issue. When I watch the set, if turned off, you cannot immediately turn it back on. The bulb does not light up, tv makes a buzzing noise then the lights start flashing code where the green and red lights are on front. The set does seem very warm during these times but the fans are still churning and it is not against anything that will restrict air flow. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I ordered and received a BP96-01653A(P132W) Samsung lamp and installed it per instructions. In less that three weeks of light service it went blank this AM with the three status lights blinking. I turned it off and when I got home from work I tried it again. Was working fine for 10-12 minutes before I turned it off to preserve the life. Is three weeks a bit short of a service life?? Original bulb lasted from Jul 08 until Jan 11.
Why does my TV continue to make static, crackling noise but picture is great?
About 3 months ago TV started making static, crackling noise when started up. The noise would only last a short while, but started taking longer and longer to stop. It now continues to make noise. It seems to be coming out of the speakers. Yesterday after running for several hours the picture shut off and TV would not turn off. The stanyby/temp red light came on. I unplugged the TV. This morning I plugged the TV back on and it is working but still with static/crackling noise. Please Help, Darrell
I searched for a close servicer in my area for our tv and it shows none. We are getting spots of light on the right side of the screen. Just started last week and now we have 3 white spots. We will need an estimate on the service costs before we put out a service request. Of course, the 4 year warranty ran out in May of this year. If the costs are too high we will not have it repaired. We paid a lot for this TV and expected it to last longer than 4 years. If we have to buy another TV it will not be Samsung if we only get 4 years of service out of it.
i replaced the bulb with the recommended bulb, the front panel LED indicators flash the same as before i replaced it. the fan comes on but the lamp does not light up. i repeated the instructions a couple of times but still does not work.
Why does the picture jump and blur on my new 46" 240hz LED TV
Using HD DirecTV, the picture jumps and blurs with the Auto Motion Plus on when watching most HD programming (both TV shows and movies on TV) -- both for slow pans or fast movement on the screen. This also happens when watching Blu-Ray movies on my Samsung Blu-Ray player, but does not happen when watching DVDs in the Blu-Ray player. Suggestions?
