Attached new Blu Ray Player to my DLP got Mode not Supported
I upgraded from a BD-C5500 to a BD-E5700 connected to my DLP HL-S6267W. The old Blu Ray played with TV 1080P beutifully. But my new Blu Ray player causes TV to show blue screen "mode not supported". If I change new Blu Ray player to 720P, the TV works fine. But I am not getting sharp 1080p resolution on my TV now. What is the problem? How do I get my DLP TV to accept 1080p from my new Blu Ray player?
We have conferred with our resident home theater specialist and she recommends that you go into Settings > Display and disable BD Wise. She also suggests that you go to Movie Frame under the same menu and turn that off as well and then try playback again. Whether or not this resolves your issue, we'd like you to email us at qasupport@sea.samsung.com if you need any further feedback. Please include a brief product issue description, as well as your product model code and serial number.
Small white dots are appearing on the screen while the TV is operating
About a week ago I started to notice a small white dot that appeared on the left side of the TV screen when the unit is working. Each day more dots or small white lights continued to appear, today when the there is a dark background or when turning off the TV the left side of the screen appears as if you were looking at a star's at night. These dots or lights continue to grow in numbers daily, what is causing this to happen ?
I have a projection TV that randomly turns off. Model # HL-S6167W . I have a friend that has the same TV and the same problem. Could you tell me what the fix might be.
Turn tv on comes on fine in about 30 sec picture goes off then about 15 sec. sound goes off and all lights on power botton flash can you tell me if it is lamp or could it be the ballast
. I turn the TV on after a long off period and after about 30 minutes it turns off. The picture starts to freeze, then I get some square lines making a cross hatch pattern with fuzzy picture, then the picture comes back and after a few times the TV shuts off. Typically I turn the TV back on in a min or so and can get from a minute to minutes but it turns back off.
What does the 2 green and 1 red light flashing mean?
my tv once in awhile would shut off because of the power supply. this time it just went black and never came back on. do the flashing lights tell you the problem? what could the problem be?
