Based on our research, this TV has several connection options including composite, component and HDMI connections (see page 14 in your user manual for more info). Your DVD player should offer at least one of these connection types. If it's an issue of not having any remaining inputs available on your TV, there's not much you can do other than temporarily unplug one device in favor of the DVD player. My tv stopped working

My tv (HLR5667w) stopped turning-on. Sears said that it was the color wheel. I replace the color wheel, then the lamp. I did take the ballast off and noticed an inky looking sticky film on my hands. I am ordering a new ballast that will be in next week. Any more suggestions?

no signal or weak signal

I had my tv repaired with a new digital tuner since then I continue to get blank screens and no signal or weak signal notice appears. I called the cable company an they reccomend a booster, but it never did this before the repair, now I am in a brand new house and have the same issue. Will the signal booster solve my problem?

How do I reset my remote?

I have a Samsung HLR5667W. My remote is no longer working. It lights up. It changes modes. It won't turn the TV off and on. It won't do anything. I've tried the reset button on the control. I've removed batteries. I've unplugged the television. I have satellite connected to the TV. The pictures on the TV is great! I can operate the TV by pressing the buttons manually. HLR-5667W 56" flickering and losing signal

At startup of TV, picture flickers very badly and loses signal sporadically. After warming up, signal loss ceases, and flicker reduces to almost negligible. Problem is worsening; it used to be fine after about an hour of problem. Now, it never fully resolves no matter how long the TV is on. Bulb is less than a year old. Cable box has been replaced with new one. Cables have been replaced. Receiver has been bypassed to rule it out. TV, cable, and receiver have been unplugged and restarted. And, we have the exact same behavior with the DVR as input rather than cable.

What could be the problem, and is it fixable?
