What causes my tv picture to dim and change color to more on the red?
I just turned on my tv only to find the picture to be very much on the red side of the scale. The picture is also gone dimmer than normal. I turned it off for a while and it came back with normal picture brightness and normal color. However, the longer it has been on the picture is reverting back to dim and red side of the scale?
I have a DLP model HL-P5063W and the TV keeps defaulting to the HDMI input even if I am trying to switch to one of the other inputs?
I have had 4 devices connected to my TV for some time now but nun of them have been an HDMI connection. So up till now I have had no problem switch between inputs. Only now that i have a component that connects via HDMI that the TV wont allow me to switch to any other input. Ever time I select something like AV1 or AV2 and even Coax it simple switch back to HDMI? If I disconnect the HDMI cable then everything else goes back to working normally? Any ideas?
We have had nothing but problems with this tv since we purchased it. less than one month after it was bought, it had to be repaired. The lamp and ballast were replaced. I am very frustrated with this unit. for the past year, it shuts off after about an hour. a lot of money was spent to buy this tv and it is ridiculous that the same amount has to be spent in repairs after purchase.
Recently had Fios installed; picture seems dark and colors are not vibrant. Have tried to adjust colors, brightness, etc. TV is about 7-8 years old with the original lamp. Is that a sign that lamp needs replacing?
After changing the Lamp(BP96-00826A-PHI), I have still problems as below. 1. No voice and no display on TV when I power on. 2. When the power connect to TV without power switch on, the lamp letter is flashing. 3. After 30 seconds with small noise, I think TV try to auto restart and lamp is also flashing. 4. After 30 seconds that, Timer and Lamp letters are flashing. What part do I replace at this time? HLP5063WX/XAA DLP TV.
