I would suggest a good universal remote. Gets rid of clutter, and you will still be able to have full function of all your devices.

Question
What's wrong with my HLP5063WX/XAA? - replaced lamp but still whining and no picture
HLP5063WX/XAA - flashing button and no picture. I replaced the lamp but still whining and still no picture. Is this a color wheel issue? How can I replace the color wheel?
this may be caused by overheating. I used an aerosol duster around the lamp area. Although I didn't see much dust there it seems to have cured the problem for me.

Question
Need help with no sound on Samsung DLP Wide TV Model HL-P5063W
Purchased ~ March 2005. One day while TV was on sound went out. We though perhaps we had inadvertently hit key on remote. Tried debugging from Menu: Sound. Then tried S Mode & many other remote options. Sound has not returned. When we push volume up or down, can see bars moving accordingly on screen but still no sound. Please make suggestions for further debugging or direct me to recommended local in-home service technicians for 23113 zip code.
Pull up menu and check to make sure the "internal MUTE" is NOT set to ON. Even though you press UP volume, there will be NO sound if "internal MUTE" is ON.
Thank you for contacting Samsung. I understand your situation. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to remove products from your account. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!
Tried to turn tv on and while it seemingly turn on, there is no picture, only audio. There are no lights on the power button and I am unable to turn the tv off by the remote or the tv, only by uplugging it. There are some clicking noises like the tv tries to start up over and over but is never able to.
Thank you for contacting Samsung. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this may have given you. It seems that your device may need servicing. Please complete a service request here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/request
Thank you for contacting Samsung. Depending on the model printer, there may be an app for that. You can find these apps on the Google Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps
With TV set OFF, Use the remote and press MUTE-1-8-2-PWR. Press each button in sequence and quickly. (NOTE: on some remotes you can use MENU-1-8-2-PWR). Use down arrow button to scroll down to "OPTIONS" press OK or Right arrow to access menu. Then click on "reset lamp timmer" Or "reset timmer". It will be described something close to that. Once reset turn TV off. Wait atleast 30 seconds before turning TV back on.

Question

I purchased a new color wheel for my DLP the color wheel says L3/BP61-01687A on it. Had no problems installing but the picture is blotchy expecially in night scenes and on faces. Research tells me the part should have came with a sheet for new CCA setting to input in the service menu. I do not have this sheet. Can you please email me the instruction sheets with these settings on them. I would love to get my quality picture back soon.
I am hearing a buzzing sound originating from the back of the TV. Near the lamp.
The lamp is 5 years old and I was hoping to replace it as a solution to the noise. The buzz seems to start as the TV heats and gets progressively louder until we let it cool and then it starts all over. Can someone walk me through how to replace it myself? And how do I get the part?
