Just purchased Galaxy Tab 10.1 and plugged in power to charge. Now when turn on it is locked.

Question

In recovery mode, /sdcard is not mounted. How to fix?

Using adb in recovery mode, I see that /mnt/sdcard is not mounted. (/sdcard is symlink to /mnt/sdcard)

How do I fix this? Or is it intentional?

Question

Why won't the new Galaxy Tab 10.1 play MKV files?

I own the Galaxy Tab 7" and it plays my MKV files perfectly. I just bought a new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and not only isn't there an appliction to play videos, once I downloaded one from the MarketPlace it plays the MKV files out of sync with the audio. This is a major problem for me as I plan on using the Tab when I travel and don't understand why the new Tab 10.1 would have problems playing the same files that the Tab 7 could play a year ago fine. Do I need an update? Please let me know or I'll have to return the unit. Rick

Question

How do I get my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Wifi) which I bought in US , to work using a wifi network in New Zealand.

Im now working and living here and cant seem to connect

Is there something I need to do to the settings. All other devices can pick up the WIFI network except the tab . The tab cant pick up the signal strength. It can see the network , but it says network strength is weak or non existent.

Question

Galaxy Tab Rear Facing Camera Does Not Seem to Function (Green Display on Camera App)

When I bring up the Android Camera App on my new purchased Galaxy Tab, I get a Green Screen in the preview, it also looks like it is displaying some ghost images from video memory. When I switch to the Front Facing Camera, it works as expected.

Any clue? I've tried powering off and restarting, trying a different camera app, but still the same problem.

Thanks for reaching out to us for support.

In order to transfer photos from your SD card to Galaxy Tab 10.1, you will need a USB adapter. Unfortunately, this accessory isn't available due to high demand. It's currently on back order and will be back in stock soon. For more information on the specs of this accessory, please refer to the link below.

In the interim, you may want to consider using a different method of transferring photos from your Galaxy Tab 10.1 to computer. You can transfer the photos from your camera on a computer, then sync your tablet device with the computer to transfer the photos. I've included a link below that includes a tutorial on this process as well.

Unfortunately, Media Hub is not yet available on the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It should be available with a future OS update release. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you.

Where is AllShare on my new Tab 10.1?
