The Samsung Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 10.1 (Wi-Fi Only) doesn't have a memory card slot. However, it is designed with a 16GB Internal Memory.

Not built into the Galaxy Tab. Samsung does however have an adapter available on their website, called the "Galaxy Tab™ USB & SD Connection Kit". It includes a SD Adapter which allows you to transfer multimedia files from an SD or micro SD card to your tablet's internal storage in a matter of seconds.

16gb tablets are noy compatible with sd cards i think its in the item information

There is no slot in the device, but there is an adapter to use SD cards with it. Look at the accessories page on the Samsung website.

there is an adapter but it cant be a hard drive the requires power from the tablet to turn it on. it does not have enough juice to power one on

Samsung does offer a Samsung Connector to USB adapter that I believe offers USB On-The-Go (OTG) support which allows the tablet to be a USB Host. USB Host support (and Honeycomb 3.1) is required to connect USB accessories such as a hard drive, thumb drive, or even a keyboard.

The USB adapter will allow you to read and write to a USB 'memory stick' but cannot power an HDD type device.

they all have gps. its a standard option on all of them

I have the WiFI version of the tablet, and it does indeed have GPS. My feeling is that GPS is pretty much a mandatory feature for Android tablets and smartphones these days.

yep it does have gps, the thing is that you need to be connected to the internet to use the gps. it won't load that maps. i was told that copilot is and app that allow you to use the gps with map offline give it a try

I am fairly certain that it uses the in-built GPS. Some apps (like Google Maps) can use the WiFi for positioning also.

It uses the built in GPS. Only a very rough approximation of your location can be determined using WiFi, and depending on your WiFi connection, it might be wildly inaccurate.

I don't believe so as there is no accessible microSD card slot

Use the wall adaptor, when trying to charge from the USB port of some computers it takes forever.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes pre-installed with Google Talk, which is a video chat application. It works perfectly with Gtalk video chat, Tango, Fring, and Skype. I haven't used Live Messenger in a while but Logic tells me that it should work just fine, however there is not a Live Messenger app for the Android platform. Windows Messenger is obsolete has not been supported in years, Microsoft stopped providing support when they came out with the Windows Live platform. There are apps in the market that say they will connect you to the Live network, but the few I found do not work correctly (or at all) according to the developers and the user community. Sorry, but it doesn't look like you will be able to use Live Messenger on the Tab just yet.

scroll down to the bottom of the screen, most of the time there is an option to switch to full page mode

1. you can upgrade by buying a new one
2. transfer it to your tablet and put it in the ebook file. it will be open

If you have the USB adapter you can use and external 'thumb drive' or 'memory stick' but I don't believe he Tab provides enough electrical current to power and HDD type of external storage.

if it is still under warranty you can send it in. i

sure you can purchase wifi only today for a reasonable price. if you require 3g, 4g you might want to get a contract with one of the phone company
