Galaxy Tab and Yahoo email

I have Yahoo email loaded on my tablet. How do I log out of my email when finished? It will not let me log out. My email account stays open always. This also goes for my wife's email account on her gmail. No log out function. How do I correct this?

Based on our research, this is no way to log out of the Yahoo! Mail app. The only way would be to remove the account.

As for Gmail, all Android devices are tied to a Google account, so while you cannot log out the account. The only workaround is to go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Gmail > Clear Cache. But, the device will stay tied to Google's servers, as that is how it fetches data for the Google Play store, etc.

Samsung apps will not download apps

When I press ' Get' to download the app it says ' service unavailable' #3015#. Also Samsung apps does not want to sync up. In account settings it will not recognise my e-mail address as the correct one.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. We suggest you clear the cache in Samsung Apps. Go to the Apps screen list. Tap and drag Samsung Apps to the App info icon. From there, clear all the data related to the app. This will effectively reset the app. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!

Question

Why cant I watch videos and camera is not working?

I have the galaxy tab 2 10.1... since day 1 camera has not worked.. it pulls up but the screen is frozen. cant do anything on it.. and a couple weeks ago started it wont let me play videos on it such as youtube or Netflix.. my husband has the galaxy tab 2 7" and has no problem. does anyone know how to fix this? Or do I need to return?

travel adapter is not charging

I recently realized that my charging adapter is not charging my tablet. I think it is defective. The cable looks okay. So right now I am having to charge my tablet by my computer. I am getting ready to leave for a business trip on the 12th of January, I would like to be able to use my adapter for charging tablet.
Also I noticed that the display models of the tablet seem to have a clearer resolution on videos than I do... is there something wrong with the video part of my tablet?
I sell these tablets all day long where I work and love it! However, I do seem a little disappointed with mine.

Question

Repair Request

I have my galaxy tab 2 10.1 registered but I am not able to start a repair request. It keeps telling me I have the wrong serial number in which I verified and I know it is right. Is there another way to get my tab to the company to be replaced or fix? The problem is it goes to sleep and freezes then reboots. I tried the new update and factory reset and still nothing changes. I also sent a question before and my question wasn't answered.

Question

Charging a Samsung Galaxy Tab 16GB

When the tablet is powered off, and the power cord is attached to charge it, the battery picture on front of tablet use to charge in a green color, now it's a gold color. Even after the charge is at a hundred percent, the color remains gold. Is there a problem with my tablet.

GT P5113 no Adobe Flash alternative?

Samsung: please provide flash player ASAP for GT P5113. I bought my tablet specifically after seeing the quality on an older model, and can no longer return it to purchase a tablet that does support Afp! Question

Tab shuts down and can't turn on

Twice the Galaxy tab has turned off with no explanation on the screen. Power on button is not responsive. The only way I've been able to get the tab to turn back on is to connect to PC USB port. Is this a potential prelude to a device failure or an issue that's been identified and can be corrected? After a few connection attempts PC to tab, the tab battery will show, then PC can connect.
Note: Tab battery does not indicate it's discharged or nearly discharged.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. The default calendar for the Calendar app will not sync with your Google calendar; it will be stored locally only. You'll note that when you go to add an event on the calendar, the listing will provide by default 'My Calendar'. If you tap on that Calendar, you'll see a list of alternative calendars from your connected accounts. You'll want to use one of these. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!

Question

Factory Reset does not work!

So trying to deal with a failed Firmware update, Samsung recommended doing a Factory Reset and then trying the Firmware update again. Unfortunately, when I do a Factory Reset, nothing changes. All my downloaded apps are still installed and functioning, all my accounts are still defined, even my email which has previously been downloaded is still there.

Tried a reset - no change.
Tried a reset right after a reboot - no change
Disabled Avast antivirus and tried a reset - no change
Uninstalled Avast antivirus and tried a reset - no change

(side note, since the original issue is the firmware update that won't install, I tried it after reboots at each step above, and still no install of the firmware update).

So, I have a tablet that cannot install the firmware update pushed by Samsung, and I have a tablet which is unable to perform a factory reset.

I have never rooted or installed any alternative ROM on this device, just things from the Play Store and the Amazon Android Store, so this is quite frustrating.

Honestly, my confidence in Samsung devices is taking a negative "hit" over this issue.

the internet tab randomly shuts down

When on the Internet, the Internet tab will randomly shut down and the tablet goes back to the home page. Is this a software issue? I've had this galaxy tab 2 for 6 months and this problem just occurred several times over the past 2 days. I updated the tablet about 2 weeks ago and use it everyday. Also, I've cleared the cookies, & etc.

Battery not charging

I bought my Samsung tablet (GT-P5113TSYXAR 10.1) about 11 months ago and over the past 2 months have been noticing that it occasionally doesn't charge when plugged in overnight. Yesterday, I plugged it in and it wouldn't charge at all, almost as if it didn't recognize that it was connected. I tried plugging into several sockets to no avail. Today, I plugged it in and it is working.

Any ideas? Is this a warranty issue?

Question

Error message - Sorry, this video cannot be played

I have several videos that were recorded on the Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 and I receive an error message when attempting to play them back. The message reads, "Sorry, this video cannot be played" In some cases it will play the video part way and then stop with the aforementioned message. I placed the micro SD card in my laptop and there are some programs that will play the problematic videos. How can I fix this issue? Apparently, numerous others are having the same issue per the internet blogs.
