The charger for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 data cable is coming apart.

The data cable is coming apart at the cable head. This should still be under warranty.

You need to look for the Internet icon on your tablet. As long as your tablet is connect to a wireless network, the app should launch and load the default homepage.

Network unavailable and also certificate problem

I'm having two problems.
First: I can't get anything going because I keep getting the message "Network Unavailable.
When I try to go to some sites I get a message about a problem with the certificate.
These two problems just started to happen. Now I can't navigate anywhere on the tab.

Question

Predictive text no longer working after software update

My tablet recently did an update and now predictive text isn't working. For example, if I type "redd", the tablet shows options such as red, etc, but "redd" stays blue and it's what gets entered as text instead of the tablet choosing the correct spelling like it used to.

Are there any plans to allow apps to be moved to the SD card?

Are there any upgrades planned that will make it possible to move apps to the SD card? This would make it possible to have more apps and not run out of storage space on the tablet.

syncing calendar from s3 to galaxy tablet

Hello,

I have added all of these accounts, facebook, gmail, samsung, skype to my tablet. I sync under settings and on the calendar.

I then go to my phone. I can not add sync accounts on the calendar app. I have to go to settings and add accounts. I have all of these accounts that I sync.

But, my calendar on my tablet does not sync with my phone's calendar. What am I doing wrong. I want my phone's calendar to update all of the tasks onto my tablet.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. The default calendar for the Calendar app will not sync with your Google calendar; it will be stored locally only. You'll note that when you go to add an event on the calendar, the listing will provide by default 'My Calendar'. If you tap on that Calendar, you'll see a list of alternative calendars from your connected accounts. You'll want to use one of these. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!

Question

How do I move a downloaded movie to my memory card. I am downloading movies from flixster but i cant get them to go to my memory card.

I am using a Samsung Tab 2 7.0 and have fitted a 32GB memory card to store videos etc. I have joined Flixster and am trying to download the movies to my memory card. They all go to the device memory instead and I cant see how to move them to the memory card.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. Please try the following. Go to 'Settings' app > 'Application manager' > 'All' tab. Scroll to the bottom of the list; look for disabled apps. If you see something called, 'Download Manager', and it's disabled, then enable it.

Sign into Dropbox or create an account from the app on the tablet itself (not a computer or another device). When you first sign up for Dropbox, they provide you with 2GB of file space for free. Within a few hours of signing up, you should receive an email with instructions on how to activate the additional 48GB of file space.

Bank of America app won't work with samsung galaxy tab 2

I just purchased a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 model gt-p5113ts, android version 4.1.1. Bank of America app says my device is incompatible. They say I need version 3.0 or 3.1. Do you know how I can get version 3.0 or 3.1.

How to Remove Additional Home Screens: pinch on any of the home screens. A menu should open up to show all the current home screens. Tap and drag the home screen you want to get rid of to the trash can.

For disabling the notification of availability, you need to dismiss the notifications. They shouldn't reappear again until a different update becomes available.
