Thank you for contacting Samsung.
We have talked with our resident tablet expert and he said you should allow 6-8 hours with the device powered off if the battery life is completely depleted. Upon first use, the tablet battery only comes partially charged, so it recommended you fully charge the device before use. For additional information, we recommend you refer to the product manual. On pages 6 and 202, you'll find a wide range of helpful info regarding the battery. If your product manual is not handy, you can refer to this digital manual.

You'll need to elaborate on exactly what kind of information you're attempting to or wish to transfer to your device. Music, video and pictures can be transferred from your computer's hard drive to the device via the two methods described via the following article.
If you have any additional questions, we suggest your refer to your product manual or the product support page on our website, where you'll find a comprehensive troubleshooting guide, product support videos, FAQs and How-Tos, as well as manual & software downloads.
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ Location services.
2. Touch Use GPS satellites to enable the GPS satellite.
Once activated, you will be able to map a route. Please be aware that while your tablet's GPS may have some features of a standalone GPS, it will not process any new directions or recalculate a route without a wireless connection. So, if you happen to take your tablet with you in a car as a turn-by-turn guide and happen to make a wrong turn, the GPS will not change to accommodate this.
We wanted to provide some additional information about the GPS feature. While you can use it with wireless, it can also function with satellites as well.
GPS requires a direct open view of the sky in order to communicate with satellites. The following can result in lost connection of GPS signals:
1. There are tall buildings blocking a direct view of the sky. 2. There is a storm causing obstructed views of the satellites. 3. Too many clouds (very unlikely). 4. GPS is not turned on.
GPS requires more use from your battery and will discharge at a quicker rate.
Please feel free to review this article if you have any additional questions.

I have GT-P5113 that runs on P5113UEBLH3 that is the latest firmware, at least based on Kies. A friend of mine bought a new GT-P5113 yesterday and it came with P5113UECLK7 preinstalled.
What is the official firmware for GT-5113? How can I install P5113UECLK7 on my tablet?

Looks like Samsung still produces one of the best hardware but are still not able to follow with good software. The device software defragmentation is getting bigger, which is the step in the wrong direction. It is still true that users should go with Google Nexus line if interested in good hardware and software combination.
There is no official firmware for any tablets. If you are using Kies and are not prompted to install any updates, there are none currently available for your device. A newer firmware may be installed on newer tablets at the factory, but we can only recommend you use Kies to obtain updates.
Our resident tablet expert tested the registration process from his tablet and said that if you opt to register any other devices from your tablet, make sure to select "Visit Full Site" and you should be able to select drop-downs with no issue.

We're only able to support US models. If you require support for the GT-P5110 you purchased in China you can find that here: http://www.samsung.com/cn/#latest-home.
Yes, you need to set the bluetooth speaker in pair mode and then using the tablet open the bluetooth settings and select scan. When you see the bluetooth speaker in the list of bluetooth devices click on it to pair. You may need to enter a pairing code for the speaker which would be found in the bluetooth speaker manual.
I'm looking to purchase some accessories, like a docking station, keyboard, cover protection, etc. Are the accessories for the regular Galaxy Tab 10.1 compatible with Galaxy Tab 2 10.1?

Have you tried connecting a flash drive to the tablet? Based on everything we've read, you can connect the included USB cable to the tablet and then to your computer and transfer files that way, but we saw no specific mention that a flash drive could be used with the device.
If you have any additional questions, we suggest your refer to your product manual or the product support page on our website, where you'll find a comprehensive troubleshooting guide, FAQs and How-Tos, as well as manual & software downloads.
There is only one screensaver factory loaded. To access, touch the top right corner of any home screen to bring up "Apps/ Widgets". Search through Apps to find "Screensaver". Click on screensaver app to access screensaver options. Set as desired.
There is only one screensaver app loaded onto the Galaxy 2. There are other Droid screensaver apps out there but you will have to find one that is compatible and download it. To access the screensaver already loaded on the Galaxy 2, touch the top right corner of any home screen and bring up the "App/Widget" menu. The Screensaver is located on the App menu. Click on it and adjust the settings accordingly.

It all depends on the make/model of your printer. If you own a Samsung printer, you can download and install the Samsung Mobile Print app. A full list of compatible printers is listed on the page by clicking MORE under Description.

Actually, you can't *disable* it, but you CAN remove it from the taskbar... just go into Settings>then Display, then Quick Launch, after you click that, just choose either an alternate or choose NONE. That will move it from the bottom, so your not always taking accidentall screenshots! HTH! =)
Yes, Samsung now sells a cover for your Tab 2 10.1 and in lots of beautiful colors! The cover is magnetized so it will "sleep" and "wake" your Tab too.
The difficult decision will be which color to choose!
Thank you for your question. While Samsung.com itself doesn't list a cover accessory at this time for this model, if you'll visit your favorite retailer, you'll find covers are available.
DEFINITELY get a good virus protection program! I didn't get on the Internet until mine was installed. I use Lookout virus protection on ALL my mobile devices (find it on the Play Store).

Installing antivirus on your tablet is purely a personal preference. If you refer to the link below, you will see there are several offerings and the most popular ones all have strong reviews, though we cannot make a specific recommendation.
