Question

after charging the tablet to 100% as soon as I unplug the charger my battery goes down to 99% is this normal? the battery also seems to die quickly.

Question

Hotmail problem

I have tried numerous times to set up a hotmail email address,(the same one I have on my PC), but it doesn't work. I get the message : "set up could not finish" Please try again, or could not find the server." I have the same problem with Facebook. It is very frustrating. I would like to go directly to my email(hotmail) instead of using the web. Please help me. I want to enjoy my tablet. Thank you.

my samsung doesnt turn on?

hello i bought samsung galaxy tab at bestbuy 4 months ago with 1 year warannty 3 days ago my samsung was doing a software update after update it rebooted and didnt turn on i tried to charge it but nothing happend i was like crying . soo i wanna ask will it be repaired or changed please tell me answer.

If you're referring to the cable (part #ECC1DP0UBEG), the USB end plugs into the outlet connector and as far as we know, you should be able to detach it without pressing anything. Just pull on the connector and it should come out.

Question

Cannot Connect to Wi Fi

We have a secured network that I'm not able to connect to with my tablet. The tablet spends a couple minutes "obtaining ip address", then I get an error that says "Network disabled. Poor connection." Please note that it shows full signal strength the entire time. Further, I know Wi Fi is functional as I am connected to it on my laptop as I type this entry.

I was able to connect when I first turned on the tablet and set it up. Also, I've followed the steps to put in the password, then tried adding the network, then tried using a static ip address, then did the hard reset - none of them worked.

I'm at my wit's end and am on the verge of trading in this product for a different product. Please help!

Downloading Kies

I tried it thru Samsung website and I have tried to get thru it on my tablet. What am I doing wrong? On the tablet it continues to scan. And it says there is not device. I trying to download movies and have horrible trouble with it. Please Please help?!!!!

Kies is meant to be installed on your PC, not the tablet itself. It merely provides a means to transfer pictures, music or video onto the tablet.

Question

How do I disable the screen lock feature?

I activated the screen lock using the PATTERN Medium to high security
but now i want to turn it off and it only gives me 3 out of the 6 choices to choose from which is Pattern,Pin,Password the rest of them are lightly faded and under neath them it say's Disabled by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage how can i enable all 6 choices?

Why does the Samsung Keyboard not work?

Hi, I've been having an issue with the Samsung keyboard on my tablet. I can open every program just fine, but the moment I try to type anything, the application crashes and closes, showing the, "Unfortunately, such and such a program has stopped" message. I tried other keyboards and they didn't work either. This is the second time it has happened. The last time this happened, the only way I could fix it was by doing the factory reset. I do not feel like resetting my tablet every two months. What can I do to fix this? I apologize for the poor quality of the video.

Question

Camera Issues with Light Sensor

I am having two issues with the camera related to the ambient light sensor.

1) If the light sensor is covered (e.g. with a finger) pictures cannot be taken. The shutter button does not react to touch.

2) In bright light, images appear correctly in the camera display when taking a picture but the image stored is solid gray.

Android version 4.0.4. Any idea how to correct?

factory reset leads to other weird option

Hello,
When I followed the instructions on Samsung's site to do a factory reset,
I got into something called "ODIN Mode". Now it says "Downloading:
do not turn off target"
What is this and how do I get out of it without turning off the tablet?

Any help would be appreciated.

There are no compatible adapters manufactured by Samsung that would allow a physical connection, but depending on the model of your TV, you may the ability to share media via your wireless network to the TV via DLNA. If your TV supports DLNA, just look for DLNA apps on the Google Play store.
