I don't have any trouble logging into media hub on my S3 but cannot log in to media hub on my Note 10.1. I have noticed that other are having the same issue.

Question

How can I reinstall the factory contacts app to my tablet without a factory reset?

I accidentally uninstalled or deleted the standard contacts apps. How can I reinstall that app (which I am assuming is a Samsung app) without a factory reset. My applications manager still shows the contacts storage application, but I am not longer able to see my google, facebook or samsung contacts. The orange contact app in the attached pictures is what I am missing.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. Go to: Settings > Application manager. Swipe twice over to get to the ALL screen. Look down the list until you come to Contacts; they should be alphabetical. If you find it alphabetically, then check back on the complete apps screen since it should be there. If you're sure that it's not there, go back to this app info screen and disable the app and then re-enable the app.

If it's not there, scroll to the very bottom to check if it's disabled. If it's disabled, open it and re-enable it.

Question

Where would a SIM Card go?

I use my cell phone as a hot spot to connect my tablet to the internet. I would like to get a data plan just for my tablet.

Also, I have paid for the NBA League Pass to watch the games on my cell phone, computer and tablet, as well as on tv. I have not been able to see a game on my tablet. I get a message saying loading video but the video never loads.

Question

After the Jellybean/firmware update my S Pen has lag.

Before the update I could write as fast as I wanted taking note's in S-Note. Now I have to write slower or it will not catch everything I'm trying to write or draw. Also if I switch to highlighting and drag the pen over what I want highlighted it stops about 1/4 inch short of highlighting the whole sentence. I have to run the pen an extra 1/4 inch passed, for it to cover the whole sentence. Please help me get this fixed. Thank you. Rob

S Pen updates

One of the great features of the S-note app is that it recognizes the pen and my hand. Since the 4.1.2 updates, I've had issues when my hand is on the screen - it tends to zoom in unexpectedly. Is this a known issue and is there a fix in the future?

What speed is the wireless N for the note 10.1 supposeed to connect at?

I have a 300mbps access point at my home but my Note 10.1 will only connect at 65mbps. The results do not change no matter if I am standing close or far away from the access point. All of my other devices connect between 150 t0 300mbps. can you help me with this question.

Thank you for contacting Samsung. The maximum connection speed would be 150 mbps. If you have power saving mode enabled, it may cap the connection speed in order to save on battery life.

How do I get metadata info from S-note Document

Is it possible to extract the meta data from an S-Note Document? We wrote a will using S-Note on my tablet, we need to prove to the court that this will was not altered or changed from the date it was signed.

According to our tablet specialist, you may be able to obtain this information via the developer options. You would need to download Android SDK. The file is specific to S Note, so you wouldn't be able to put it on a PC and get that info because the PC wouldn't recognize it.

Question

No Audio with HDMI TV Adapter

Should I expect to hear audio along with the video I can see when using the HDMI adapter part no. EPL-3PHPBEGSTA connecting my Note 10.1 to my home entertainment system (amp and TV)?

Samsung advertises audio streaming from the Galaxy Tab to a compatible HDTV as a "Feature" of the powered HDMI cable (see http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/EPL-3PHPBEGSTA-features). However, I cannot get the audio to work.

I plugged the EPL-3PHPBEGSTA HDMI adapter from my Note 10.1 into the HDMI connection on the back of my amplifier which, in turn, has an HDMI cable into the TV. There is video from the Note 10.1 on the TV screen but no audio sound when playing videos, music or TV shows. There is also no sound coming from the Note 10.1 itself. Nothing is plugged into the Note 10.1's earphone jack. I have tried different working HDMI cables so I know it is not a problem with my HDMI cable. The volume is turned up on my Note 10.1 and on the amp and the TV but still no sound. I tried plugging the HDMI from the Note 10.1 directly into the TV (not through the amp) - still no sound.

Connecting a separate audio cord from the Note 10.1's headphone jack into the amp or TV in addition to the HDMI should be unnecessary with a HDMI connector capable of both video and audio. Maybe I have an incorrect setting somewhere or could be something wrong with my Note 10.1.

What needs to be done to hear the audio when using the Samsung HDTV adapter?
