It's fine to store pans in the Warming Drawer, though you should store only items there that can withstand the heat in the event the drawer is inadvertently turned on.

Download the user manual.
On page 31 it tells you how to change to 12hr clock.
Press clock and 0 for 3 secs. This will show you which mode the range is in.
Press 0 on the number pad to select either 12 or 24 hr clock.

Don't own the range yet, but I downloaded the manual to see if this IS the range I want. ; )

When you pull out the warming drawer, the serial number and model number are on a plate mounted on the left side of the range. Kind of a hard place to read it, but that's where it is.

Thanks for the question. Regular Bake mode is not available in the upper oven when the divider is in place, for the same reason Broil is not available in the lower oven. The hidden bake element is actually located in the bottom of the oven, so heat from the elements in the top of the oven must be circulated by the convection fan in order for the upper oven to bake. The broil element is located at the top of the upper oven, so it isn't possible to broil in the lower oven only.

I would use a good quality tri-ply for even heating/even cooking. I use Calphalon now and it heats and cooks evenly - flat bottom pots and pans as suggested above. Start on lower heat than you used on your old stove.

Question

Is my range defective?

When I open the door the divider will spring forward and the oven will shut off just like hitting the cancel button. The divider gets pushed out by the spring loaded switch that tells when it's in place. I have to reset all the controls like I'm first setting the oven for use. Can this be fixed?

Question

How much condensation is normal with convection bake?

When I use the convection bake mode, I have condensation running down the backsplash behind the unit. There is condensation all over the control panel on the right side where it vents. It builds up around the burner knob and drips down onto the cooktop. Recently I had something replaced with the far right control knob. There was a loud pop, blue flash, and the indicator light quit working. Samsung replaced it but I wonder if all the condensation might have been part of the problem. I am new to convection baking but have seen that other ranges at friends' houses do not have this issue. When I have the divider in and am using convection on the top, the lower portion will also fill with condensation.

I have the same problem with condensation with convection cooking in the top oven - so much dripping that I don't use the right back burner at the same time. I have not had a need to replace any parts, yet.

This dripping liquefied condensation on the stove top is one of my only (but major) concerns with this oven/range.

Question

Are the burners on the FE710 flex duo oven, induction?

I'm shopping for a new stove and love all the features of the FE710; however, I'm VERY confused about the burners. I've read several reviews and looked, online, at different stores and some say the burners are induction and some say they aren't. An SPSN video I watched, said they are induction; however, at a couple other sights (non-Samsung sights and mainly online stores) said they were not. I would like to know if, in fact, the burners on the FE710 flex duo oven, are induction and will require cookware that can be used on an induction burner. Thank you very much.....I appreciate your help.

The cook tops on Samsung electric ranges have been internally tested to support loads of up to 70 pounds and run continuously at maximum heat levels for extended periods of time. Samsung does not guarantee fitness of the product for any specific purpose, however, it is our understanding that the load, heat and time parameters of general non-commercial canning would fall into those performed in our tests. Please understand that this statement does not imply that the referenced cook top could be used for commercial use, as operation of the product in a commercial manner may void the warranty.
