Thanks for the question. It's normal for many convection ranges, including the FE710DRS, to convert the temperature by 25°F automatically when convection is selected. In addition, it is common within the industry for there to be a variance of up to ±25°F between the set temperature and the actual oven temperature, based on a number of factors; though Samsung ranges are actually designed to have even less of a variance (±10°F to 20°F). It is also worth noting that, while the ranges are callibrated at the factory to be within the acceptable variance, the thermostat can be adjusted by up to ±35°F by following the instructions in the user manual, which can be downloaded as a pdf file from this website.
That said, if your FE710DRS converts the temperature by 50°F instead of 25°F, and the thermostat is also off by up to 50°F, your range may require service.
