my usb cable is 100% ok ?but when i plug it to my universal wall charger it does not charge? its works sometimes and sometimes it don't...could it be that it have a short? i charge my galaxy tab by usb only latly....should i just get a whole new wall charger?

I've had the same issue once before. I happened when I accidentaly covered the charger with a pillow. It was connected to a surge protector and got really hot. It worked off and on for a while then it just quit. Something finally went out on the inside. Until I got another one I just used an adapter from another phone that had a usb connection.

Try your usb cable connected to a pc if it has same problem then it's your usb cable otherwise it is the wall charger.
why there is no tv out function for GT P1010? I purchased the cable together with the tab but it won't works.
By any chance your CS centre re program the unit to get the function (TV out)

Where can I purchase a replacement charger locally
I feel like I am being given the run around. I have now gone through 4 replacement chargers and everyone meaing vendors love to point the finger at Samsung. I am very frustrated for a device that I cannot buy a replacement item which I am not currently able to use my device. My zip is 98248
