Question
Mirror Video and get audio
I'm trying to figure out how to mirror the video on the Galaxy 10.1. I've not bought it yet but for the application that i'm going to use it in, car, I'm trying to get video out of the HDMI adapter and also wondering if that HDMI cable carries an audio signal as well. I'm planning to us a converter to convert the HDMI signal to composite signal so I can watch the videos on my headrest monitors for my kids. I need an audio signal for my processor though as well so I can play music through my sound system.
So I guess what I need to know is, can I get sound out of the HDMI port, or can I get video and audio out of the USB port? Thanks for your help. I'm at the last step of this to buying one, but I have to make sure everything is going to work before i spend the money. I DON'T WANT AN IPAD2, this is the tablet I want. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I just purchased this adapter, and yes it does produce sound. I connected my Note 10.1 to my HDTV via HDMI and the picture and sound is solid. You do have to keep the tablet charged while playing or else it will not output to your TV, just an FYI.
