3.5mm audio jack not working
Phone software version is 2.2.1, so the audio out 3.5mm jack should be working. However, when I plug in a transmitter, headset, or even earphones, the sound still comes out of the phone's speakers. When removing from the dock, the sound comes through the plugged in equipment (as long as it's plugged in to the 3.5mm jack on the phone itself.)

When the dock home screen comes up, try clicking on the speaker icon to "mute" the sound. Then test sound from the audio out.
