Looking for Answers about samsung DVD-R155?

I accidentally broke the little swing-down lid covering the tray. The little pin broke on right side. Can I get a replacement and brief instruction on how to insert into unit?? Thanks.

After recording a DVD you cannot play back the DVD on anything but this particular player, any other player or computer says that there isn't anything on the disk, but if you put it back in to the R-155 it will play fine. I do not want to record all my old home movies onto disk and then they cannot be seen on anything but this one particular player. Is there anything that you are supposed to do to keep this from happening? This is the only reason we bought this player was to record home videos but its useless if I cannot play them on anything else. Please help.

I try to use the DVD-R155. I turn it on and pushed the open button, it say open on the display but will not open.

I connected my Scientific Atlanta DVR to the r155 and then the r155 to the TV
I have used various combinations of cables and I get the audio but never the video; have used the red/white/yellow combo; the one with the five plugs; the HDMI cable; same result....audio but no video;
I used the various set up menus in the various components (TV, 155 unit)
I can play DVDs just fine
Clearly there is a problem with the R155 unit picking up and transmitting the cable TV signal
Suggestions would be appreciated!!

I have tried to record using all modes (e.g., SP, EZ...) I can playback on my video recorder/player, but on nothing else. I am assuming that it is because I have not "finalized" the dvd. I only have 2 minutes recorded on the DVD...so I assume that is why the EZ record did not finalize automatically...

I accidentally broke the little lid that comes down when Opening the tray. Can I get another along with brief description on how to insert it. The little peg on one side broke off.
