I have a SAMSUNG VCR-DVD Model: DVD-8600. How do I hook up the VCR-DVD, a VIZIO hdmi HDTV, and the cable receiver, Motorola DCH3200,to play DVDs?

Question

How do I get this DVD player to connect to my current in home wireless network?

When I try to log on to Netflix I receive an error message stating there is no cable connected to my router. My router and wireless connection is currently working for my laptop. Why is this DVD player not picking up my wireless signal?
