Thanks for the question. If the dryer appears to be "stuck" in a cool down phase, please make sure the Wrinkle Prevent option is not selected. This option will continue to tumble the drum without heat for up to 90 minutes after the heated dry cycle has ended to help prevent wrinkles from setting in. During the Wrinkle Prevent phase, the display should show a "scrolling rectangle" of lights; this option can be activated or deactivated by pressing the Wrinkle Prevent button on the control panel.
If Wrinkle Prevent is not selected, try cycling the power to the dryer by unplugging it then plugging it back in or turning the circuit breaker off then on again. Check the vents for blockage, since the most common cause of the dryer not heating is obstructed air flow from a clogged lint trap or vent ducts. Other factors to check are to make sure the dryer's dedicated 30-amp power supply is functioning properly, and an appropriate heated dry cycle is selected. If you've checked each of these suggestions and the dryer still will not heat, it will require service.
