Thanks for the question. The DV400 dryer does not have a drum light. Similar models with this feature include the DV456, DV476 and DV484, among others.

Question
How do I save a drying time of 13 minutes to the My Cycle setting? It keeps defaulting to 40 minutes.
I have followed the manual instructions. The dial is set to timed dry, the time is adjusted to 13 minutes, My Cycle button is held for 3 seconds, it flashes 3 seconds and the My Cycle icon appears on the panel. If another cycle is used or the dryer is powered off and then on and the My Cycle button is pressed, it goes to timed dry, 40 minutes. I have tried to do the same thing with 20 minutes too but it always defaults to 40 minutes.

According to our resident home appliance specialist, you have to let the dryer finish the cycle the first time you set up My Cycle. If you don't let it finish, the settings are not stored in the memory.

what cycle should towels be set on
The dryer I just replaced had a towel feature - this one has a bedding feature which I like - but want to use the right dial for my towels.

Why might the Dryer trip the 30A Breaker
My Dryer occasionally trips the dedicated 30A Breaker. We replaced our old Dryer and never had this problem until we installed the new Samsung.
