It's normal for a cold mist of water to be sprayed in the dryer during the Steam cycle, and the heat from the dryer should turn the mist into steam. Opening the door during the cycle would let the heat out, which would hinder the evaporation of water droplets on the door. If your clothes are drying and the water is evaporating, and the steam appears to be effective in removing wrinkles, then it is likely your dryer is working correctly since it is not unusual for the steam itself to be difficult to see. If, however, your dryer is not heating and your clothes are not drying, then service may be necessary. First, please make sure the vents and lint trap and not clogged and the dryer is connected to a working dedicated 30-amp power supply.
