If the dryer is installed under a counter, enclosed on the back, sides and top, then you were to add doors to the front, in effect you'd be creating a "closet" around the unit, likely preventing sufficient ventilation. I would suggest consulting a qualified gas installer for further assistance determining whether your installation conforms with local and national codes.

The DV330AGW, like other gas dryers, relies on natural gas to heat the dryer, though a conversion kit for liquid propane is also available. The 120V/60 Hz/15-amp electrical connection simply powers the controls, not the heating element. Samsung does make an electric version of this model, the DV330AEW, which would require a more powerful 240V/60 Hz/30-amp electrical connection.

Yes, it is fine to use a periscope vent with the DV330 gas dryer. Please refer to the attached chart, which can also be found in the User Manual, for recommended lengths of the vent duct based on your particular set up, as well as other venting requirements.

The gas line on the DV330AGW is 3/8" (1 cm), so Samsung recommends a 1/2" (1.27 cm) gas supply line to make the connection. Please refer to the User Manual for additional installation guidelines.

Yes, the side vent on the DV330AGW gas dryer is on the left when facing the dryer. The gas valve is on the right rear side on Samsung gas dryers which prevents them from venting on the right. Besides the left and rear, Samsung dryers can also be vented out the bottom, using the DV-1A Side Vent accessory kit.

It may also be helpful to check the washer installation. If your clothes are "soaked" after coming out of the washer, it may not be spinning properly which can result from not being installed correctly. Once the washer and dryer are both installed correctly with the appropriate power supplies, leveling and venting, the time it takes to wash and dry a load should be reduced significantly. While it is correct that the Delicate cycle is the only one of the Sensor Dry cycles that allows the Low temperature setting, the 27 minutes displayed at the start of the cycle is a pre-programmed estimate and the cycle should run for as long as it needs to for the sensors to detect a dry load. Another option would be to set the temperature to Low on a Manual Time Dry setting, and then set the desired time.

If your DV330 Sensor Dry Delicate cycle will not dry your clothes effectively, there are some other troubleshooting items to check before requesting service (see troubleshooting section of this website or submit a new question for assistance). If your Manual/Time Dry setting will not allow you to select Low heat, then please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether service is necessary.
